On the side of the body, the new car adopts the popular slip-back roof design, with double color matching paint, further enhancing the fashion sense of the whole vehicle. It is worth noting that the new generation of Mondeo's exterior mirrors use a splice-like design, which is very novel. In other respects, the new car is equipped with hidden door handles, 19-inch sporty aluminum alloy wheels and so on. At the end, the brand-new Mondeo is equipped with blackened through-tail lights, and three vertical light sources are integrated into the left and right lamp cavities, which are expected to have good recognition after lighting. Since 2004, Mondeo has entered the domestic market. At that time, the official second-generation model introduced at that time was officially launched in August 2013. Will the new Mondeo be able to return to the top? According to media statistics, Chang 'an Ford Mondeo sold 101035 vehicles in 2016 and 112158 vehicles in 2017, which can be said to have reached its peak. However, since 2018, sales have suddenly plummeted to 45405 units, only 17642 units sold in 2019 and 25027 units in 2020. As competitors at the same level, Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Magotan, Buick Regal, Nissan Teana and other models have annual sales of more than 100,000 vehicles, while Mondeo is less than a fraction of the above models.

Sales volume is the most direct feedback, have to admit, Mondeo in the country is already a outdated model, urgent need to change the current decline. From the new generation of models, Mondeo's biggest change is still in appearance, adopting the upcoming new EVOS design style, but moving the design of an SUV to a sedan, can such a change really be accepted by consumers? There is still a lot of controversy.

It is worth mentioning that Mondeo will become a special model in the future because it has been discontinued in many markets around the world. In March, Ford said its Valencia plant in Spain would end production of Mondeo models in March 2022. A Ford spokesman said consumer preferences have changed and Ford is gradually improving its passenger car lineup in Europe to meet the brand's transition to all-electric vehicles and respond to changing customer needs. As early as July 2020, Ford Fusion (Ford Mondeo in China) retail program ended due to its low sales in North America.

According to the latest sales volume, Chang 'an Ford terminal retail sales volume in October was 21217 vehicles, up 5.6% year-on-year and 2.5% month-on-month. From January to October, the terminal cumulative sales volume was 162737 vehicles, up 4.6% year-on-year. For the current market, although Changan Ford's sales performance is not optimistic, monthly sales volume is only at the level of 20,000 vehicles, but it still achieves growth in the market environment of lack of core, which is still worthy of praise.

In terms of specific products, the retail sales volume of the new generation of Foris in October was 4779, the cumulative sales volume of Mondeo terminal was 4101, and the sharp edge was 3690. The sales volume of these three models was relatively stable, accounting for 59.2% of the total sales volume of Chang 'an Ford in October, but it was not worth mentioning for the same class models. It is understood that Chang 'an Ford will be held on the 19 th Guangzhou Auto Show on the market brand-new EVOS models, previously announced pre-sale price range of 2278 - 260,800 yuan. According to the exposed product plan, the new generation Mondeo will be available in the first quarter of 2022, the Fox with a four-cylinder engine and the new generation Explorer will be available in the second quarter of 2022, and the new generation Sharp will be available in the fourth quarter of 2022.
