On April 4, 2021, the official website of the State Supervisory Commission of the Central Commission for discipline Inspection announced that Yin Jiaxu, former secretary of the party group and chairman of China Arms Industry Group Co., Ltd., was suspected of serious violations of discipline and the law and was currently under disciplinary examination and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for discipline Inspection and State Supervision Commission.

On September 30, 2021, the State Supervisory Commission of the Central Commission for discipline Inspection informed the results of the investigation that Yin Jiaxu, former party secretary and chairman of China Arms Industry Group Co., Ltd., was expelled from the party for serious violations of discipline and law.

According to public data, Yin Jiaxu was born in April 1956 and went to work in December 1976. In August 1996, Yin Jiaxu served as executive deputy general manager of Changan Automobile (Group) Company in the capacity of deputy director of the Southwest military Industry Bureau; in November 1998, Yin Jiaxu was promoted to vice chairman, general manager, and deputy secretary of the party committee of Changan Automobile (Group) Company. In February 2000, Yin Jiaxu served as executive director, general manager and deputy secretary of the party committee of Changan Automobile (Group) Co., Ltd.; in January 2002, he became deputy general manager and party member of China Arms equipment Corporation. From 2002 to 2006, Yin Jiaxu served as deputy general manager and party group secretary of China Arms equipment Corporation, chairman, president and party committee secretary of Changan Automobile (Group) Co., Ltd.

It is understood that Yin Jiaxu has left good achievements in the development of China's automobile industry. During his tenure in Changan Automobile, Yin Jiaxu also had a decade of rapid development of Changan Automobile. During his tenure, Changan Automobile realized business income of 9.884 billion yuan in 2002 and net profit of 835 million yuan. By 2010, Changan Automobile business income increased to 33.526 billion yuan, net profit increased to 2.035 billion yuan.

On August 13, Chen Xi, former vice president and head of marketing and sales department of Dongfeng Renault Motor Co., Ltd., qu Gang, former assistant director of marketing department of Dongfeng Renault Motor Co., Ltd., and Sun Yiwen, former head of Citroen Brand Marketing Department of DPCA Automobile Co., Ltd., was investigated on September 14. Xiong Xiong, former vice minister of marketing department of Dongfeng Qichen Motor Co., Ltd. On October 16, Xie Jinhui, Executive Director of Skoda Brand Marketing and Executive Director of Skoda Brand Business of SAIC Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd., was investigated.
