However, the announcement of Mavericks electric car into the automotive industry is not surprising, as early as last year, it was reported that Mavericks electric founder Li Yinan will lay out the field of new energy vehicle manufacturing, the first car is the SUV, plans to enter the market of about 200000 yuan, is expected to launch in 2022.

In March this year, a rendering of a calf electric vehicle named NIU 4 Fun was circulated on the Internet. The car was positioned as a four-seat small pure electric vehicle with a wheelbase of 2010 mm and a range of 400km with a price between 70, 000 and 80, 000, but it was not confirmed by the authorities at that time. According to public data, the NIUTRON car project was established as early as November 2018, the brand is headquartered in Beijing, the R & D center is located in Shanghai, and the R & D and intelligent manufacturing base is located in Changzhou, which is also the ideal location for automobiles. At present, the company's core R & D team is close to 1000 people, all from domestic and foreign mainstream first-tier automobile companies, with an average working life of more than 10 years.

Combined with the location of Niu Innovation Energy Research and Development Base and the location of ideal cars, both are in Changzhou, and some people in the industry have made a bold guess: the first product of Niu Innovation Energy is likely to be an add-on electric vehicle. In fact, add-on electric vehicles are very controversial in the field of new energy vehicles, but in spite of this, the added-program electric route of ideal cars is still very successful. The delivery volume of ideal cars reached 13485 in November, which is currently the highest-selling product among domestic new powers. under such momentum, people in the industry speculate that Niu's innovative energy-added electric vehicles may also be able to stir up a lot of spray.

Speaking of which, people may have some expectations for Niu Innovation Energy, a new car-building power, which may be inseparable from the "genius" behind Li Yinan, who was born in the field of Internet science and technology and has held important positions in Internet companies such as Huawei and Baidu. It is called a rare "genius". Li Yinan, 23, joined Huawei as a graduate student in 1993 and was quickly promoted to chief engineer of the company in two years. At the age of 27, he became Huawei's youngest vice president and is considered Ren Zhengfei's successor. In 2000, Li Yinan ran away from Huawei and set up his own company and named it Harbor Network. Two years later, Haven Network was known as "Little Huawei" in the industry and became Huawei's biggest competitor. Harbor Network fell rapidly in the contest with Huawei. It is not enough for Li Yinan to join the car-building boom. In recent years, the new forces of car-building have attracted a number of cross-border car-making enterprises in different fields and industries. Since the establishment of new forces such as NIO, Xiaopeng and ideal around 2015, the automobile industry has also attracted many cross-border car-making companies since 2019, including Baidu, Ali, Xiaomi, 360th, oppo and so on. But Evergrande has to be mentioned as the most famous cross-border car maker. In June 2018, Evergrande Group announced its entry into the automotive industry. in July last year, Evergrande Health issued a notice to change the company name from "Evergrande Health" to "Evergrande Automobile, and Evergrande Health's main business has also become a new energy vehicle. Of course, the ranks of cross-border car building are far beyond Evergrande, Baidu, Xiaomi, Foxconn, as well as Zhiji, a high-end intelligent pure electric vehicle jointly built by Ali, SAIC and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, and Huawei, Changan Automobile, Ningde era, etc., although Baidu, Ali, Xiaomi, 360th and oppo have no experience in the automotive industry.
