Of these, car sales were 892000, down 11.4% from the same period last year, up 6.0% from the previous month, up 24.8% from the same period last year, and 3.7% from the previous month. 841000 SUV sales were down 12.6% from the same period last year and 7.0% from the previous year.
Judging from the car list, Nissan Xuanyi returned to the top of the list, surpassing Hongguang MINI, which ranked second, with a score of 42587 vehicles in November. Although Xuanyi's sales are only 2/3 of those of the same period last year, judging from the trend in recent months, Xuanyi is still gradually recovering from the lack of core at a relatively slow speed, and should be able to continue to rise in December. As for the overtaken Hongguang MINI, it fell to 40395 from 47834 in October, although it remained at 40, 000, most likely due to the introduction of more and more mini electric cars, such as Chery QQ ice cream and Reading Mango, leading to the carving up of the A00 market.
From the overall list, there are only three independent models in the top 15. In addition to the above-mentioned Hongguang MINI, there are also BYD Qin and Dihao, especially BYD Qin, which is ahead of Carola, Camry and other popular joint venture cars into the top five for the first time. It should be noted, however, that BYD Qin's sales include fuel cars, BEV (pure electricity) and PHEV (plug-in). If you look at Qin PLUS DM-i 's sales of 18054 vehicles, it is actually ahead of Teana after the Civic. At present, most of BYD's sales come from new energy products, and the proportion of fuel cars is shrinking.
The car list is still dominated by joint venture models. Due to the ease in the supply of spare parts, some models have been able to maintain the sales level of last month, while some models have shown greater room for growth, such as Carola, Accord, Civic, Lei Ling, and Passat, which all rose sharply in November. In addition to the iteration of product updates, it is also closely related to the mitigation of chip supply.
Let's take a look at the SUV model list. The Harvard H6, which has remained at 20, 000 for several months, has once again reached the 30, 000 mark, but it is still down 44.4% from a year earlier. It was closely followed by BYD Song, which also sold 5371 fuel vehicles, 4609 BEV and 15088 PHEV combined, up 17.9% to 25068 compared with the same period a year earlier, a gap of only 5000 compared with the Harvard H6, which seems to be struggling to return to its previous peak.
Compared with cars, SUV products are indeed more easily accepted by consumers, and many models set up the SUV market from the very beginning. In recent years, both joint venture brands and independent brands, more and more SUV products continue to pour in, leading to more and more competitive pressure in the domestic SUV market, consumers have more choices, Harvard H6 market share has been slowly eroded, and even their own brothers have begun to seize the Harvard H6 market, such as Harvard first Love, Harvard Dog, Harvard Red Rabbit and other models. Based on this, it is understandable that the Harvard H6 will not be able to return to the monthly sales level of 50,000 or 60,000 vehicles.
In addition to the above two independent models, Changan CS75, Changan CS55, Red Flag HS5, Geely Boyue and ideal ONE are all in the top 15. Among them, Changan CS75 also continues to lose its position as the runner-up of SUV because of the intensification of competition in the SUV market. Red Flag HS5, which reached the level of 15240 in November, entered the top 10 with 13459 in August, not only reappeared on the list two months later, but also raised its own new high to 15000. As for the new power product ideal ONE, it is the first time to squeeze into the top 15 list of the SUV market, leading the models of Xilai and Xiaopeng, and its appearance on the list is also the best proof of the vigorous development of the new energy market.
The performance of joint venture SUV models in November was generally relatively low. For example, Honda XR-V, Haoying, colorful Zhi, and even CR-V fell out of the top 15 list, while Tuguan L and Xiaoke maintained their October sales level, while Wellanda and RAV4 Rongfang rose sharply. By contrast, Honda suffered a more serious chip crisis than other brands in November, with Toyota growing slightly in November, with most of its models maintaining their previous sales levels.
Compared with the smaller share of the MPV market, there are not many bright spots. According to the list, Wuling Hongguang and Buick GL8 have more than 10,000 models, 16353 and 11214 respectively, both down from the same period last year. In terms of other models, most of the top 15 were independent MPV, of which the Chuanqi M8 performed well, up 49.9% from the same period last year to 7118.
According to the list of models in November, sales of most models declined compared with the same period last year, mainly due to the shortage of chips, but the month-on-month increase means that the shortage of chips has eased. Looking forward to the production and marketing situation in December, the Federation said that it is expected that the shortage of resources will be further alleviated in December, which is conducive to the accelerated recovery of retail sales in December, coupled with the Spring Festival this year 11 days earlier than last year, the node before the Spring Festival is the concentrated outbreak period for first-time buyers, the performance of the car market is bound to be strong, and the market can still look forward to it in December.
