The new car can be seen as a sister to the Dongfeng Honda Civic, all equipped with a high-power 1.5T four-cylinder turbocharged engine and a manual version for consumers to choose from. With the launch of the style, it means that the Civic is no longer exclusive to Dongfeng Honda.

From the point of view of the appearance, the style emphasizes the sense of movement more than the brand-new Civic, its front face adopts a flat design, the narrow LED headlight group is connected to the central grille, the interior of the intake grille is modeled with a large hole grid, and the front enclosure is surrounded by black horizontal strips, with the raised ribs and lines on the engine front hatch cover, which looks more athletic. In the rear part, the Guangben grid is also redesigned, and the double "L" taillight group cooperates with the upper ducktail shape, which is the biggest difference from the Dongben Civic. In addition, in order to highlight the sports characteristics, the new car will provide unique emerald blue and hot yellow paint.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the shape grid are 4689/1802/1415mm and the wheelbase is 2735mm. As a reference, the new Civic is 4674/1802/1415mm in length, width and height, and 2735mm in wheelbase. Except for the increase of 12mm in length, the width, height and wheelbase are consistent with the Civic.

The GAC Honda model is developed on the same platform as the Dongfeng Honda Civic, and the interior layout of the style is consistent with the new Civic, so it is difficult to tell whether it is a style or a Civic when sitting in the car. From the interior layout, including three-frame steering wheel, through air conditioning outlet, suspended central control screen and all-digital dashboard, can be seen in the cash Civic. However, the configuration of the model is slightly higher than that of the Civic, with a 12-speaker BOSE sound system and NFC card keys, which is Honda's first model with BOSE audio in China.

In terms of power, the model is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 182hp and a maximum torque of 240N ·m. The transmission system matches the CVT gearbox and the six-speed manual self-contained gearbox.

From the perspective of market analysis, the compact car market where GAC Honda style is located is one of the most competitive market segments in the current car market, and its most direct competitor is Civic. In terms of price, the new Civic with 1.5T high-power engine costs 14.29-163900 yuan, while the sister model with 1.5T high-power engine costs 12.99-166900 yuan, which seems to be more competitive in price. So if it were you, would you buy a Civic or a style?

In addition to Civic, its competitors include Toyota Corolla, Nissan Hennessy, Volkswagen Langyi and other models. In addition, Mazda 3 Encela, Ford focus, Buick Veyron PRO and Hyundai Festa are all sports-style products and potential competitors.

Compared with Honda's sister models in China in November, Guangzhou Auto Toyota's models seem to have an advantage, but the new models are not optimistic that they want to catch up with models that have been in the market for many years in the short term.
