On December 17, Chery Holdings Group released its sales plan for 2022. Chery Group set the goal of ensuring annual sales of 1.5 million vehicles, striving for 2 million vehicles and annual operating revenue of 200 billion yuan.

In November, not long ago, the total sales of Chery Group was 110281 vehicles, an increase of 8.2% over the same period last year. Specifically, the Chery brand accounted for 76560 vehicles, an increase of 18.6% over the same period last year. Chery's high-end brand Xingtuo achieved sales of 5189 vehicles (including exports) in November, an increase of 135.4% over the same period last year. The Jetway brand, which focuses on the middle and low end of the market, sold 19256 vehicles a month in November. From January to November, Jetta sold a total of 133941 vehicles (including exports), an increase of 30.3% over the same period last year. In terms of new energy vehicles, Chery's sales of new energy vehicles reached 15000 in November, up 101.1% from January to November, up 145.2% from January to November. Among them, the cumulative sales of Chery "Little Ant" on the market for four years has exceeded 240000, firmly ranking first in pure electric car sales, and with the launch of Chery QQ ice cream products, Chery new energy product sales may achieve new growth.

From January to November this year, Chery Group sold a total of 849912 cars, an increase of 38.3 percent over the same period last year, and operating revenue of 130.18 billion yuan, an increase of 42.8 percent over the same period last year. Based on the results of November sales, if nothing happens, Chery may sell 960000 vehicles this year, notably only 730000 last year.

In addition, in overseas markets, Chery's cumulative exports exceeded 240000 vehicles from January to November, an increase of 138% over the same period last year. According to data, Chery's exports have accounted for nearly 1% of total sales. But Chery's target of exporting 500000 vehicles by 2022 means doubling that figure.

It is understood that at present, Chery Holdings Group owns many brands, such as Xingtu, Chery, Jetway, Kaiyi, and so on. From the point of view of November sales, Chery does have a great improvement, but according to the 2022 sales plan announced by Chery Group, it seems to be difficult to achieve. After all, Chery Group has only sold 850000 units until November, which is far from 1.5 million. Let alone hit 2 million.

Yin Tongyue, chairman of Chery Group, once said: "the needs of the new generation of customers are different from those of the past." In the past, car companies put more emphasis on developing performance, quality and cost, but today we have to develop emotions, develop ecology, and develop different lifestyles of young people. "in order to better fit the younger mentality of users, in fact, Chery Group has also spent a lot of thought. For example, in the naming of the model, Chery uses the name provided by the user as the representative. At this year's Guangzhou Auto Show, Chery officially launched a new product line, OMODA, in which "O" represents a brand new, and "MODA" represents the trend and history. "OMODA is for the trendy and fashionable young and new generation, which is said to be the result of co-creation with users. The first model of the series, OMODA 5, is expected to be launched in China in the first half of next year.
