It is understood that the previous generation of Dongfeng Nissan Qijun a total of 11 models on sale, of which 2.0L model price range of 18.88-207300 yuan. Dongfeng Nissan Xinqijun has a total of eight models on sale, with prices ranging from 18.19 yuan to 262900 yuan. As a resurrection of Qijun glory, its price is higher than the new and old Qijun, or admire the courage of this kind of pricing.

Why are you surprised by the price of Qijun Glory? As we all know, after the listing of Xinqi Jun at the end of August, Lao Qijun no longer sold, and then sales were depressed for a time. Finally, in order to save Qijun again, Zhengzhou Nissan decided to revive the old Qijun to realize the sales of new and old Qijun. Therefore, there is not much difference between Zhengzhou Nissan Qijun Glory and Dongfeng Nissan Lao Qijun, the most fundamental difference is probably only the difference between manufacturers, that is, the difference between Zhengzhou Nissan and Dongfeng Nissan, but in this case, Zhengzhou Nissan Qijun Glory sells more expensive than old Dongfeng Nissan Qijun, although only 400 yuan more expensive. It is worth mentioning that Zhengzhou Nissan Qijun Glory and Dongfeng Nissan Lao Qijun carry 2.0L engine code name MR20, but the parameters of Qijun Glory are lower than Lao Qijun. As a reference, Qijun Glory has a maximum power of 151 horsepower and a maximum torque of 194N m, while Lao Qijun has a maximum power of 154 horsepower and a maximum torque of 204N m. Although the difference in power parameters is small, it is difficult to understand that the price is still high.

In addition, the same is true compared to the new Qijun of Dongfeng Nissan. As a new generation of models, Xinqi Jun has been innovated both in appearance and interior decoration, which is more in line with the aesthetics of consumers. Of course, the biggest difference between Xinqi Jun and Lao Qijun lies in the power system, its 1.5T three-cylinder engine, maximum power 150kw, maximum torque 300N m, its power output is stronger than Lao Qijun. As a new generation of models, it is reasonable for the price to remain the same or to raise the price. After all, the improvement in all aspects means that manufacturers have to pay more costs, but the resumption of production and listing of Qijun Glory has seen a different situation. Qijun Glory is 7300 yuan more expensive than Xinqi Jun, and the power output of 2.0L four-cylinder engine is not as good as 1.5T three-cylinder engine. So, by contrast, is it novel Jun Xiang or Qijun Rong Xiang?

At the beginning of the listing, Dongfeng Nissan had high hopes for Xinqi Jun, but the actual performance was very mediocre, with sales of 4035 vehicles, 4021 vehicles, 4010 vehicles and 4001 vehicles respectively from August to November, basically stable at the level of 4000 vehicles. Before the replacement, Lao Qijun's sales basically exceeded 10,000 a month, with sales from January to June of 18583, 10113, 14418, 14336, 12855 and 11581 respectively.

To some extent, the listing of Qijun Glory may be related to the current sales situation of Qijun, because the current sales situation of Qijun is not optimistic, and it is expected to return to the situation of more than 10,000 monthly sales by reviving Lao Qijun. Although the third generation Qijun has been sold in the market for 7 years, the monthly sales of Xinqijun can still be maintained at more than 10,000 vehicles before the listing, indicating that consumers still have a certain recognition of its product power. At that time, we guessed that in order to protect the quantity, Lao Qijun would reduce the dimension after the resurrection, and the price would be significantly lower than that of Xinqi Jun, but at the same time higher than Teana. After all, the price of Lao Qijun is too low to affect the market of Teana, that is, the price is in the range of 16-180000 yuan. However, the resurrection of Qijun glory is not only more expensive than novelty, but also more expensive than Laoqi Jungui, which we did not expect. Of course, some netizens pointed out that this may be a sales strategy, set a high value threshold, and then a substantial discount to make the market feel good value for money, buy the old model will not feel at a loss.

There is some rationality in this point of view. Take Buick Yinglang as an example, the current Yinglong official guidance price is 1.99-125900 yuan, and the general discount in the market is about 40-50, 000 yuan. Data show that Yinglang sold a total of 259700 vehicles in November, ranking fifth in the car list. in addition to being directly related to the replacement of four-cylinder engines, substantial discounts in the end market are also the key to promoting sales stability. As for whether Qijun Glory can return to the market of ten thousand vehicles, it can be verified next year.
