The car has launched a total of three equipped models with a pre-subsidised price of 25-320000 yuan. The new car will go on sale in February next year and will be delivered after the Spring Festival.
It is understood that AITO is Huawei's new high-end new energy brand in cooperation with car companies, while the M5 is the first model equipped with Huawei Hongmeng system, and the new car is positioned as an intelligent luxury medium-sized SUV. Yu Chengdong, the CEO of Huawei's consumer business and BU CEO of smart car solution, said at the press conference that the arrival of AITO M5 marks a historic transformation of cars from vehicles to intelligent ecology, and is also Huawei's "key link in building the ecology of the Internet of everything."
As a brand-new model, the M5 adopts a new design in appearance, with a larger trapezoidal mesh on the front face and a number of horizontal chromium-plated decorative strips on the inside. The headlamp group uses a full LED light source, which supports adaptive far and near light switching and automatic headlamp functions. From the side point of view, the new car uses a hidden door handle, with a new shape of large-size rims, the whole is relatively simple. In the rear part of the car, the through taillight design is adopted in the interface M5, and the English LOGO of AITO is located in the center of the taillight. AITO is the latest brand released by Cyrus, and it is the second cooperation between Cyrus and Huawei. On the eve of this year's Shanghai Auto Show, Cyrus and Huawei jointly launched Selis Huawei Smart SF5, which is not only at the Selis experience Center and the official APP, but also online and booked at Huawei experience Store and Huawei Mall, while entering the flagship store in China. It is worth mentioning that the high-profile release of the first model of Selis high-end brand AITO does not seem to be optimistic in the secondary market. On December 23rd, the share price of Cyrus-listed company Xiaokang plunged 7.82%. On December 24, the share price of Xiaokang shares fell by the limit, closing at 63.19 yuan. However, since the announcement of its partnership with Huawei, Xiaokang shares have risen more than 200 per cent since March.
