Solution: brilliance BMW will replace the power battery module with welding defects for vehicles within the recall range free of charge to eliminate safety risks. Brilliance BMW specially stressed that users are advised to drive their vehicles carefully before being recalled for repair. If there is a power outage while the vehicle is running, please stop at a safe place and contact the dealer.

Brilliance BMW filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Regulation, recalling a total of 1974 iX3 vehicles from now on, meaning that the problems that have plagued many iX3 owners for a long time are expected to be solved.

The automotive industry has learned that there have been complaints about the failure of BMW's iX3 power battery for a long time, with more than 90 per cent of the 2021 models. BMW manufacturers require the relevant vehicles to go to the 4S store to disassemble the entire power battery pack and replace the defective battery modules in 10 sets of battery modules.

Car owners think that BMW iX3 uses technical upgrading programs to evade quality defects and does not accept official repair and replacement programs.

According to the car quality website, there have been more and more complaints about battery failures from BMW iX3 in recent months, believing that BMW manufacturers should recall their products, but call them "technology upgrades", which cannot be accepted and recognized by car owners.
