There is not much change between the side of the body and the fuel version, but brand-new wheels have been replaced. The rear part of the car still uses through taillights, and the shape of the bumper echoes with the front of the car, highlighting the positioning of new energy to a certain extent. Power is the biggest highlight of the new car. According to officials, the car has a thermal efficiency of 43.32% and a fuel saving rate of 40%. When it is full of fuel, the maximum range is 1300km, and the overall fuel consumption is only 4.3L/100km. Of course, the above are only official data, and the final performance of the real car remains to be evaluated.

It is understood that Xingyue L was officially launched on July 20 this year, and the new car is based on the CMA platform architecture. It is the third model launched after Xingyue and Xingrui, with a price range of 13.72-188200 yuan. In terms of power, Xingyue L is equipped with 2.0T high and low power engine, the maximum power is 175kw and 160kw, the peak torque is 350N ·m and 325N ·m respectively, and the transmission system matches Ericsson 8AT and 7-speed wet DCT. In terms of sales volume, the sales of Xingyue L from July to November in 2021 were 6059, 10036, 10168, 4092 and 11083 respectively, with a cumulative sales of 41438 vehicles in five months. For a new SUV, the performance is still quite eye-catching.

As a hybrid version of Xingyue L, its performance in the future is still unknown, but it can be predicted that the launch of the hybrid version of Xingyue L Raytheon Hi X will change Geely's depressed sales of new energy vehicles. At present, Geely brand has Jiaji PHEV, colorful PHEV, Borey ePro, Xingyue PHEV and other models on sale, but sales are very mediocre. For example, Xingyue PHEV sold a total of 473 vehicles in the year, while Kaiyue PHEV sold 2761.

Different from the above new energy vehicles, Xingyue L Raytheon Hi X hybrid version is developed on an independent platform, that is, the new modular hybrid platform Raytheon Hi X. According to official claims, the 1.5TD hybrid engine under Raytheon think engine Hi X is the world's first mass-produced turbocharged direct injection hybrid engine, with a thermal efficiency of 43.32%, creating the world's highest thermal efficiency record for mass-produced hybrid engines. It is understood that based on the new hybrid platform, it will be carried in more than 20 models of Geely, Lecker and other brands in the next three years, aiming at Toyota and Honda's long-term dominance of gas-electric hybrid models.

In the domestic mixed market, BYD plays best. At the beginning of this year, BYD released the "DM-i Super plug-in" system, and launched Qin PLUS DM-i, Song Pro DM-i, Song PLUS DM-i, Tang DM-i and other models, which sold well all the way in the market. In November, for example, BYD New Energy reached an all-time high of 90100 vehicles, ahead of Tesla, SAIC GM Wuling and other car companies, and became the brand with the highest sales of new energy vehicles. Of the 90100 new energy vehicles, 43984 are DM models, of which DM-i is the main source of DM sales. At present, BYD's DM-i model is enviably hot in the market, and many car owners have booked their cars for more than a month but failed to bring up their cars, causing a large number of complaints.

In addition to BYD, Great Wall Lemon DHT and Changan Blue Whale iDD have accelerated the layout of the hybrid market. A few days ago, the Great Wall WEY latte DHT officially launched, the new car launched a total of medium cup, large cup, super-large cup three models, the price is 159800 yuan, 169800 yuan, 179800 yuan. In terms of power, the latte is the first model with a 1.5T DHT hybrid, with a maximum power of 246hp, a maximum torque of 532N ·m and a two-gear DHT gearbox. According to officials, the fuel consumption of the WEY latte is as low as 4.9L for 100 kilometers and surpasses the 1000km when it is full of fuel.

As the number one of its own brands, Geely has also begun to accelerate the pace of new car launches as other competitors enter the hybrid market, and as Geely joins the melee war, the auto industry will have a more subtle impact.
