A week ago, byte beat's automotive media platform "understanding car Emperor" released the winter test endurance results of 40 electric cars. The test standard is very strict, the test site is located in Yakeshi City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous region, when the temperature is basically around minus 20 ℃, the maximum test of the battery life of electric vehicles. However, although understanding Cheti's winter test tests the endurance of electric cars to the greatest extent, it is biased from the actual situation, as the temperatures in most northern areas (such as Beijing) are below minus 15 ℃.

Recently, the China Automotive Consumer Research and Test Center (hereinafter referred to as "China Automotive Research") has released the winter life of six electric vehicles, all of which are hot new energy models on the market, including Tesla Model 3, Lvlai EC6, BYD Han EV, Xiaopeng P7, BMW iX3 and Nafu Pro.

It is understood that the test is carried out at room temperature (23 ℃) and low temperature (minus 7 ℃). This testing method can not only verify the difference between the official mileage and the actual range, but also verify the attenuation of the range of new energy vehicles at low temperatures.

Tesla Model 3 participated in the test of the standard endurance rear wheel drive version, with an official guidance price of 318700 yuan, mileage of 520km at room temperature and 328km at low temperature, with a decline rate of 36.9%.

The official guide price of the EC6 sports version is 407000 yuan, with a mileage of 424km at room temperature and 245km at low temperature, with a decline rate of 42.1%.

BYD Han EV participated in the test of the super-long-range version of the premium model, which is officially priced at 255800 yuan, with mileage of 629km at room temperature and 435km at low temperature, with a decline rate of 30.9%.

The Xiaopeng P7 participated in the test of the rear-drive ultra-long-range Zunzhi version, with an official guidance price of 277900 yuan, mileage of 698km at room temperature and 403km at low temperature, with a decline rate of 42.3%.

The official guide price of the BMW iX3 leading model is 399900 yuan, with mileage of 546km at room temperature and 346km at low temperature, with a decline rate of 36.6%.

The official guidance price of the lunar version of the Nashi U Pro 500 is 139800 yuan, with a mileage of 550km at room temperature and 317km at low temperature, with a decline rate of 42.4%.

From a comparative point of view, the performance of the BYD EV is the best, compared with the normal temperature mileage 629km, the low temperature mileage is 435km, the decline rate is 30.9%. On the other hand, the performance of Nashi U Pro is the worst, compared with the normal temperature mileage 550km, the low temperature mileage is 232km, and the decline rate is 42.4%.

Although there are not many models participating in the test, they are basically best-selling models in the market, which still has a certain reference value for consumers who are interested in buying electric cars, especially those in the north. They are interested in buying new energy vehicles, but they are worried about the endurance attenuation of new energy vehicles, and this test is more in line with the actual situation in the north.

At present, the range of new energy vehicles is still a major pain point for consumers to use cars, with the drop in temperatures around the country, especially in the northern region, the "mileage anxiety" of new energy vehicle owners has re-emerged. Earlier, CCTV Finance and Economics reported that the shrinking mileage, the lack of battery charge and the fear of turning on warm air are still troubling many car owners, including new energy car owners, who get up at 4 am to grab charging piles.

As for how to solve the problem of battery life of new energy vehicles, on the one hand, it is the breakthrough of charging technology, on the other hand, it is to strengthen the convenience of charging. Liu Jie, director of the Technology and Certification Department of the China Electric vehicle charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance, said that technically, it should accelerate the application of high-power charging technology, reduce the waiting time for charging, unify the interface, and improve adaptability.
