At that time, a number of media reported that Evergrande's first car, Hengchi 5, had a low-key production line affected by the news. Evergrande's share price soared 17.2% on the 28th, the highest increase in nearly two months. Subsequently, according to the brokerage China, the above is not Hengchi 5 production line, only the internal production line through the ceremony, the real Hengchi car mass production line ceremony may not be until early next year.

The declaration information shows that the length, width and height of the new car are 4725/1925/1688mm and wheelbase 2780mm respectively. In terms of power, the new car uses a motor produced by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 150kW. According to the model planning released by Evergrande, Hengchi 5 is positioned as a compact pure electric SUV, against the standard Audi Q3, BMW X1 and other luxury entry-level SUV.

Generally speaking, after the announcement of the new car by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it will be officially made public soon, and then the declared new car will begin the pre-sale and listing process within the period of April to June. However, as a cross-border car brand, in the context of Evergrande's deep crisis, how to break market concerns and let consumers buy a pure electric SUV with a price of 200000 yuan is also something Evergrande needs to consider.
