Recently, some media exposed the latest news of BYD two models. According to the exposed internal news, the two BYD models include the planning of DM-i /p products of Han and Tang Dynasties in 2022. Both DM-i and DM-p of the new generation have been further upgraded. Among them, Han DM-i has a pure electric life of up to 242 kilometers, and Tang DM-i has a pure electric life of up to 252 kilometers.

According to the exposed picture information, BYD Han DM-i models are divided into three types, including 18.3 kWh battery pack, NEDC pure battery life of 121 kilometers, B state power loss fuel consumption of 4.2L/100km; Equipped with 37.6 kWh battery pack, NEDC pure battery life of 242 kilometers, B state power loss fuel consumption of 4.3L/100km; Equipped with 37.6 kWh battery pack, NEDC pure battery life of 202 kilometers, B state power loss fuel consumption of 5.3L/100km. In addition, BYD Han may also have a high-performance Han Hui launch, which is expected to be named Han DM-p.

In contrast, the current BYD Han DM is equipped with a hybrid system composed of 2.0T engine and front and rear dual motors. The comprehensive maximum power is 321kW, the peak torque is 650N·m, and the matching is a 6-speed wet dual clutch gearbox. The acceleration time of 100km is 4.7 seconds, and the NEDC pure electric range is 81km.

However, there are only two new Tang DM-i models, both of which are equipped with 45.8 kWh battery pack. According to the endurance range, they are divided into NEDC pure battery life of 252 km and B state power loss fuel consumption of 5.6L/100km;NEDC pure battery life of 215 km and B state power loss fuel consumption of 6.5L/100km. If there are no accidents, Tang DM-i offers 252 kilometers of pure electric life, which could become the first plug-in hybrid technology industry product with more than 200 kilometers of pure electric life.

Compared with the current Tang DM-i, the current Tang DM-i is equipped with a hybrid system composed of 1.5T engine and single motor, matched E-CVT gearbox, and the acceleration score of 100 kilometers is 8.7 seconds/8.5 seconds.

According to relevant media reports, the two cars are expected to be launched in the first half of 2022, among which Tang DM-i's large battery life version and four-wheel drive version are expected to cover the price range of 190,000 - 330,000 yuan.

In response to the above news, the relevant media asked BYD for confirmation. BYD said that the relevant information was basically true, but the new car was not listed. The specific WLTC standard needs to be subject to the final announcement.

According to the latest data, BYD's new energy passenger vehicles in December 2021 were 92823, including 13701 sales of Han DM in December; Tang Family sold 9000 new energy passenger vehicles in December, while from January to December 2021, BYD sold 593745 new energy passenger vehicles accumulatively throughout the year, among which Han DM sold 117665 vehicles accumulatively throughout the year; Tang Family sold 54204 vehicles accumulatively throughout the year. For the sales target of 2022 in the new year, BYD said on December 13 last year on the investor conference call that the sales volume of new energy vehicles in 2022 will be between 1.1 million and 1.2 million vehicles, and the sales volume of pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid models will account for half each, among which the target sales volume of pure electric vehicles is 600,000 vehicles and the sales volume of plug-in hybrid models is 500,000 - 600,000 vehicles. If the above two models can be realized in the first half of 2022 as scheduled, it means that BYD Han, Tang DM-i and DM-p models will be able to further improve their product matrix after launch, and at the same time bring more choices to consumers.
