It is understood that the BMW IX M60 is built on the basis of the BMW IX. As a high-performance version of the BMW iX, the BMW IX M60 has been upgraded in many details.

In terms of appearance and styling, as the BMW IX M60 is upgraded from the BMW iX, the new car still uses the design and styling of the BMW iX, and the overall design style has not been greatly adjusted. The front face of the new car adopts a family-style design style, with a closed double-kidney grille with a long and narrow set of lights, which makes the whole front face look domineering and the side shape of the car body is harder. new decorative elements are incorporated on the basis of retaining the BMW family design. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the whole vehicle are 4955/1967/1698mm and the wheelbase is 3000mm. The tail uses a penetrating waistline and a long and narrow taillight, echoing with the headlights of the front face.

Interior, the automotive industry's concern query shows that the interior part of the new car is not much different from the BMW iX xDrive50 model currently on sale in China, the overall layout of the new car is relatively simple, the car is mainly composed of liquid crystal instrument and central control screen composed of double screen, the central control screen built-in BMW iDrive 8.0 machine system and cancelled most of the physical buttons.

In terms of power, as BMW M's first high-performance electric SAV, the BMW IX M60 is equipped with a pure electric drive system composed of front and rear motors, and is equipped with the fifth generation xDrive technology and four-wheel drive system. The two motors generate power together with a maximum power of 619hp, with a peak torque of 1100 Nm and a zero acceleration of 3.8 seconds. This is the first BMW model with a torque of more than 1000 Nm. In terms of driving range, the maximum mileage of the new car can reach 566km under WLTP conditions. In addition, the maximum speed of the new car can reach 250km / h, which is by far the fastest pure electric mass production model in the BMW Group.

In terms of competitors, considering the vehicle positioning, power performance and vehicle price of the new car, it is expected to form a direct competitor with Tesla Model X.

At present, the official price of Tesla Model X is 939990-999990 yuan, which is not very different from the BMW IX M60 model in terms of price. however, the advantage of Tesla Model X is that the Model X Plaid version has three motors and all-wheel drive, with a maximum power of 1020 horsepower and zero acceleration of only 2.6 seconds. from this level, Tesla Model X seems to have more advantages, but what will happen in the future? It needs to be combined with longer-term market performance to know.

In addition to the above-mentioned BMW iX M60, BMW officially released another iX xDrive 40 in China, which is priced at 746900 yuan and is expected to start delivery in January this year. In terms of power, the iX xDrive 40 has a range of 455km under the CLTC standard, a maximum power of 326hp, an acceleration of 6.1 seconds from zero to 100km, and a minimum energy consumption of 18.0kWh at 100km.

After the addition of two new BMW models, coupled with the listing of BMW iX xDrive 50 models at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year, the price is 846900 yuan, which also means that the domestic BMW IX family product lineup has been officially upgraded to three models, and the iX family M60, xDrive 50 and xDrive 40 models have distinct personalities, which on the one hand enriches the product rectangle, on the other hand, it also provides multiple choices for consumer groups.

From January to November 2021, BMW delivered a total of 42000 new energy vehicles in China, an increase of 65.8 percent over the same period last year.
