On August 1, 2019, Evergrande Group headquarters was officially relocated from Guangzhou to the Outstanding Houhai Center in Nanshan, Shenzhen. Evergrande was in talks with Shenzhen SASAC about the backdoor reorganization and return to A shares. With the withdrawal of the lease, Evergrande Group may relocate its registered place to Guangzhou again.

On December 19, 2017, Evergrande auctioned the Shenzhen Bay Super headquarters Base site in Nanshan District, Nanshan District, T208-0054, with a land area of 10376.82 square meters, a total construction area of 289200 square meters, and a land use life of 30 years. Evergrande also reduced the six models originally developed at the same time, leaving only the fastest-growing Hengchi 5 and Hengchi 6. With the slogan of "work hard for three months, make sure the first car goes offline", Hengchi 5 was shipped from Guangzhou to Tianjin to continue production, and most of the related production and R & D personnel were also transferred to Tianjin in batches to support.

Miraculous work, Evergrande's first mass-produced model, Hengchi 5, first car on December 30, the Tianjin factory held a low-key offline event on that day, and no media and guests participated in the event.
