On August 1, 2019, Evergrande Group headquarters was officially relocated from Guangzhou to the Outstanding Houhai Center in Nanshan, Shenzhen. Evergrande was in talks with Shenzhen SASAC about the backdoor reorganization and return to A shares. With the withdrawal of the lease, Evergrande Group may relocate its registered place to Guangzhou again.

On December 19, 2017, Evergrande auctioned the Shenzhen Bay Super headquarters Base site in Nanshan District, Nanshan District, T208-0054, with a land area of 10376.82 square meters, a total construction area of 289200 square meters, and a land use life of 30 years.
