While the other owner, Yu Yu, communicated with the 4S store because of the CarPlay function of the car and the inability to check the fuel consumption and mileage of the car, the 4S store said: "the manufacturer gave two batches, one with the car network, and the other without." however, after checking the official website, the 4S store also found that it did not match the publicity. The official website advertises that there is a car network and does not mention two batches.

In response, Wang Jiahong, executive director of Beijing Gold v. Law firm, said: the official website publicizes that some functions should be actually delivered, otherwise it will be fraudulent to the purchasers. "at the very least, the 4S store did not truthfully tell me that phones other than Android phones could not be used." For fraudulent acts, the operator shall be liable for compensation. It cannot be said that it is not a quality problem, so the operator will stay out of it.

The auto industry is concerned that when looking at the third-party complaint website, there have been a number of complaints about the model in the past three months that are "not in line with publicity" and "suspected reduction".

So far, SAIC Volkswagen officials have not responded to the above reports.

Public data show that the Lang Yi is the best-selling model under SAIC-Volkswagen. According to the latest data from the FIFA, the cumulative sales of the Lang Yi from January to November in 2021 was 355000, accounting for 3% of SAIC's total sales.
