On January 14, Wei brand Mocha DHT-PHEV officially opened pre-sale, new cars launched a total of 2 configuration models, pre-sale range of 2990 - 315,000 yuan. According to the official claim, the car is equipped with DHT hybrid system independently developed by Great Wall. The two-wheel drive pure electric comprehensive endurance is 204km, WLTC comprehensive endurance range exceeds 1000km, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of 100km of electricity loss is 5.55L.

It still provides three LCD screens, among which the size of the instrument panel is small, while the size of the central control screen reaches 14.6 inches. In fact, if from a technical point of view, Mocha DCT-PHEV is no worse than the mainstream plug-in hybrid models or extended range models on the market, it can be said that it solves the disadvantages of traditional fuel vehicles, plug-in hybrid vehicles and pure electric vehicles. For example, the pain points of pure electric vehicles are long charging time, short battery life, mileage anxiety, etc., the pain points of oil vehicles are gear shifting failure, difficulty in licensing in first-tier cities, etc., and the pain points of hybrid vehicles are control without pure fuel vehicles and low battery life. Mocha DHT-PHEV seems to be born for the above drawbacks, but its pre-sale of 29.90-31.50 million yuan really makes it difficult for many people to accept, this price is higher than the mainstream hybrid model price on the market, and Wei brand's biggest problem is actually brand awareness, consumers will not only consider the configuration when buying a car, but also whether the price matches the brand is one of the factors for consumers to buy a car.
