Pentium B70S is one of several products first launched after the launch of FAW Pentium brand strategy. At the FAW Pentium 15th anniversary exhibition and brand strategy conference held earlier, FAW Pentium said that between 2023 and 2025, FAW Pentium will launch more than two new models a year to complete the layout of eight traditional energy products and five new energy products. In addition, FAW Pentium also released the positioning of a new brand, a new brand LOGO and a new sales target at the conference. At the meeting, FAW Pentium announced that it would achieve sales of 300000 vehicles in 2023 and 600000 vehicles in 2025, while challenging 1 million vehicles. The replacement of a new brand LOGO is also the fourth time that a new brand logo has been released since the establishment of FAW Pentium, less than three years after the last change.

As for product layout, according to the development blueprint of the 14th five-year Plan issued by FAW Pentium, FAW Pentium will form full coverage of the mainstream market products of cars, SUV and MPV. For example, production and sales volume will reach 300000 in 2023, realizing brand strategic transformation. The layout of eight traditional energy products and five new energy products will be completed from 2024 to 2025, covering the mainstream product market from A00 to B, reaching the annual production and sales target of 600000 vehicles and challenging the operating scale of one million vehicles.

In addition to the announcement of the first new sedan SUV Pentium B70S, the State intellectual property Office recently obtained the patent map of FAW Pentium's new SUV. From the exposure of FAW Pentium brand-new SUV patent map, the new SUV new car appearance is very avant-garde, looks full of technology. When looking carefully at FAW Pentium's brand new SUV car, the design of the front is very simple, the overall lines of the body are also very suitable, and the rear wing is also equipped to add some sense of movement to the whole. In addition, it can be seen from the picture that the size of the car's rearview mirror is not large, it is expected to use electronic rearview mirror, and the handle of the front and rear door will also use hidden design.

So far, no more information has been revealed about the name, size and power parameters of the new car, but with the release of the patent map, more detailed information is expected to be released soon.

According to public data, the Pentium brand was founded in May 2006. the cumulative sales of the Pentium brand in 2019 reached 120500 vehicles, an increase of 33% over the same period last year. Based on the substantial increase in sales in 2019, FAW Pentium set a sales target of 200000 vehicles in 2020, but in fact, FAW Pentium's annual sales volume in 2020 was only 80100 vehicles, not only a far cry from the 200000 sales target, but also a sharp decline, but for 2021 FAW Pentium has a sales target of 156000 vehicles, but FAW Pentium has accumulated sales of only 67612 vehicles in 2021, which has dropped sharply again compared with the same period last year, or even less than half of its annual target. FAW Pentium wants to achieve sales of 300000 vehicles in 2023, and it seems to be very difficult to achieve 600000 vehicles by 2025. As for the future, whether FAW Pentium can achieve its target on schedule It will take more time to find out.
