FAW Toyota Corolla Ruifang and Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Fenglanda Landa both locate the compact SUV. The main difference lies in the design style of the front face. Carola Ruifang adopts the styling design style of the American version of Carola Cross. And Feng Landa uses the Japanese version of Carola Cross modeling design style, as for the interior part and power part, there is little difference between the two.

The interior part of the new car is basically consistent with the Carola, and the overall design of the Carola Ruifang is relatively simple. According to the previously exposed configuration information, the new car is expected to be equipped with a 9-inch suspension central control screen, embedded Toyota Zhixing interconnection and AI voice interaction and other functions.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 126kW and a torque of 209Nm. The CVT gearbox will be responsible for power transmission. At present, GAC Toyota's "Landa" family products include Wiranda, Hanlanda, and Fenglanda. FAW Toyota "release" family includes Rongfang, Crown Lu Fang and Ling Fang.

Judging from the current product positioning of FAW Toyota Corolla Ruifang, the new car is located between Toyota Yize and RAV4 Rongfang. Specifically, in terms of body size, the new car is higher than Yize (relatively larger) and lower than RAV4 Rongfang (relatively smaller). In terms of price, the new car is lower than Yize (14.58-165800 yuan), so whether it is Fenglang Landa or Carola Ruifang. This model has a higher performance-to-price ratio and space than Yize, which sold 45295 vehicles in 2021, including 4926 in December 2021, according to the latest data. Therefore, FAW Toyota Corolla Ruifang's listing is likely to replace Yize's current market, of course, at this stage is only speculation, whether it can be replaced in the future still needs to be verified by the market.
