Recently, the owner of Lecker 01 complained that the steel strength of LK 01 was suspected of being reduced and falsely advertised. According to the data, on December 1, 2020, at the press conference of the new Lingke 01, the A column and the front of the upper beam, the rear of the upper beam and the lower beam were uniformly rendered in red, which represented the highest strength. It is officially announced that Lecke 01 has reached the utilization rate of 73.2% of the comprehensive high-strength steel plates and implements the same global standard. The on-site diagram also shows that the roof beams of Lengke 01 are made of ultra-high strength steel. However, in May 2021, a car owner found on the official website that the steel strength data map of the LK 01 model at the press conference had been replaced, and the rear half of the roof crossbeam had been replaced by high-strength steel. As a result, the steel strength questioned by car owners is suspected of reducing distribution and false propaganda, and has initiated complaints in a number of channels.

Prior to this, that is, on May 23, 2021, the car body of Lecke 01 was dismantled by the program "understanding the car Big Bang", which was the lowest equipped model of Lecke 01. Among them, in terms of the strength of car body materials, understanding car Emperor has made a division of steel with different strength. From the point of view of the specific position, the two-story structure of the A-column of Lengke 01 is mainly A-grade steel, and the measured tensile strength of the two-story structure is more than 1300 MPA. Although the measured data do not meet the standard of S-grade steel, the two-layer materials are close to the numerical range of S-grade steel. Grade A steel is used in the middle layer of B column, grade C steel is used in the inner layer, and both C column and D column are grade D steel. In the side beam part, the upper and lower side beams of Lingke 01 are made of C-grade steel except for A-grade steel at the front of the upper beam.

On January 19th, Lecker responded: "the new Lock 01 is a model sold around the world. At present, 01 fuel and 01 PHEV are sold in China, 01 PHEV and 01 HEV are sold in seven European countries (Sweden, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Italy), and 01 fuel models are sold in Kuwait, in which the body structure of the models with the same powertrain is exactly the same. It will not be distinguished according to the country in which it is sold.

With regard to the suspected reduction and false propaganda of the steel strength questioned by car owners, the official said, "because the country does not have a unified standard on the indication of car body structure, nor does it have a unified indication specification." as a result, the body structure used by different departments or different scenes is also different. For example, the new Lingke 01 uses a variety of illustrations, such as "five-color body-in-white structure diagram" and "six-color body steel structure diagram" (which is consistent with the first Linke 01), respectively or at the same time. Lecker expressed "deep apologies" for the confusion caused to car owners. In addition, Lecker said that "will be a comprehensive inspection and carding, continue to improve the work in the brand-wide norms."

By implication, Lecker denied that there was any false propaganda or suspected reduction problem, which was caused by the non-uniform indication standard of the car body steel structure. However, many car owners are not satisfied with Lecker's official explanation. For example, the response document only mentions "structural consistency", but in the view of some owners, "structural consistency" does not mean "material consistency".

It is understood that LYNK&CO is a high-end brand formed by Geely Holdings and a joint venture between Geely Motor and Volvo Motors. The first model, Lecker 01, was officially launched on November 28, 2017. it is the first model developed based on CMA infrastructure, with a price of 15.88-220800 yuan. Lectra 01, which is on sale in cash, was officially listed in December 2020, with an official guidance price of 17.98-201800 yuan. According to Geely Holdings, the cumulative sales of Lecker in 2021 was 220516, an increase of 26% over the same period last year. Lecker 03 is its highest selling model, with a cumulative sales of 76461 vehicles for the whole year, while this involves a cumulative sales of 45037 vehicles for the whole year. It is the third model sold by Lecker.

At present, in response to some car owners' questions about the explanation, the Lectra official has not responded further.
