In terms of appearance, the new Regal and Regal GS models basically continue the cash design, with Buick family-style front grille design and internal lattice structure design, with flanking wing LED headlight groups on both sides, which looks more recognizable as a whole. In addition, the Regal GS is also equipped with its own aerodynamic surround, combined with vertical "fangs" air intakes on both sides, making the whole car very athletic. On the side shape of the body, the new car roof lines are relatively smooth, with through-type waistline and chrome-plated windows, the overall visual effect appears to be very slender. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4904 (4913) 1863 mm 1461 (1462) mm, wheelbase is 2829mm, positioning is a medium-sized car. In the body color selection, the new car has cinnabar, black, shadowy gray, ivory white, royal blue (GS exclusive) and other colors to choose from. The rear part of the car body also uses a double-spread airfoil LED taillight group, which echoes with the front face. At the same time, the new model will increase the electric opening and closing function of the trunk to facilitate the use of consumers.

In the interior part, the new car adopts a winged surround design, and the new Regal and Regal GS are equipped with a standard 8-inch high-definition touch control screen and a new wireless charging panel in the front row. In addition, the new Regal is also equipped with a new generation of OnStar OnStar full-time online assistant, covering more than 50 major services in five categories.

In terms of power, the new Regal 652T Smart and Regal GS are equipped with an eighth generation Ecotec 2.0T variable cylinder turbocharged engine and a 9-speed HYDRA-MATIC smart transmission with a maximum power of 174kW and a peak torque of 350Nm. The acceleration time of the 652T smart model is 7.1 seconds, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is 6.6 liters. The Regal 552T model is equipped with a 1.5T SIDI direct injection turbocharged engine and a 9-speed HYDRA-MATIC intelligent gearbox with a maximum power of 124kW, a peak torque of 250Nm and a comprehensive fuel consumption of 6.3L per 100km.

The history of Buick Regal has been reported in detail before. The first domestic Buick Regal was launched in December 2002. The car is based on Buick Regal and has been improved for the Chinese market. The price starts from 206800 yuan.
