According to previous reports in the automobile industry, Nissan Pathfinder is a medium and large SUV built by Nissan for the North American market. The brand-new generation Nissan Pathfinder was officially released in North America in 2021. This is also the fifth generation model of this product, which is built on the same platform as the brand-new generation Infiniti QX60 currently made in China. According to the patent drawing published by the State Intellectual Property Office, in terms of appearance, the brand-new Nissan Pathfinder domestic version continues the same appearance design of overseas models. The new car still adopts the brand's iconic V-Motion front face, the large size inverted trapezoidal air intake grille and thick chrome strip combination are highly recognizable, and the overall grille design is relatively square. The head of the new car is equipped with Nissan's brand-new flat logo, and the headlight part adopts split design. The style is similar to that of the brand-new Dongfeng Nissan Qijun. In addition, the lower air intake opening of the new car is also decorated with black trim panels, and the lower part is equipped with silver guard plates, which look very tough. On the side part of the body, the new car is positioned as a 7-seat medium and large SUV, and the overall line is relatively straight. The new car is blackened by B-pillar and D-pillar and equipped with unique C-pillar. According to the patent drawing, the new car and the assembled wheel hub shape are the same as those of overseas models, all of which adopt double five-spoke design. In terms of power, the overseas version of Nissan Pathfinder is equipped with a 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 engine with a maximum power of 212kW and a peak torque of 351N·m. The transmission system matches a 9-speed manual self-contained gearbox. However, in view of domestic emission standards and reference to the brand-new generation of domestic Infiniti QX60, it is expected that the domestic version of the model will not follow the power parameters of the overseas version, it is expected that the 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine replaced by the domestic version of Infiniti QX60 will be adopted, and the gearbox will match the 9-speed manual self-contained gearbox.

In terms of selling price, as a reference, the price of Nissan Pathfinder in the United States is 33,680 - 48,440 US dollars (about 2141 - 307,900 yuan), while referring to Dongfeng Nissan Loulan price range of 238,800 - 283,800 yuan, if Nissan Pathfinder can be made in China, the estimated price may be more than 300,000 yuan. The new car will compete with Ford Explorer, Volkswagen Touon and Buick Encore.

At present, Dongfeng Nissan officials have not confirmed the news that Pathfinder is imported into China, but since Infiniti QX60 has been made in China, rumors about Nissan's medium-and large-sized SUV settled in Dongfeng Nissan have been heard many times, and the exposure of this patent map further confirms that Nissan Pathfinder has the opportunity to welcome domestic production. In fact, a number of medium and large SUVs in the joint venture have been made in China, and if the brand-new Nissan Pathfinder can realize the domestic version of the model or can occupy more market share for Dongfeng Nissan.
