According to the latest news, the third model of Changan "KTV" series, UNI-V, will be launched in late March this year.

As the first car of the UNI series, the Changan UNI-V, which is positioned as a compact sedan and focuses on the four-door sports car market, has been pre-sold, with the top version priced at 134900 yuan, and the low and medium price is not expected to be too high.

In terms of appearance, the new car continues the family design style of the UNI series, with an overall bias towards a sporty young design style, with a borderless design concept on the front face, an inverted trapezoidal forward air grille combined with long and sharp headlights, and the medium net design gradually transitions to trapezoids and triangles on both sides. The new car on the side of the body adopts a slippery back design, coupled with the low-lying posture of the body, which strengthens the sports properties of the car. In the rear part of the car, the Changan UNI-V uses a penetrating taillight group. In addition, the car is also equipped with an electric rear wing, which is also one of the bright spots of the car. When the new car starts the SUPER RACE track mode, the atmosphere lamp and UI in the car will be switched to the exclusive track theme, and the electric rear wing will also rise automatically. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4680/1838/1430mm and wheelbase 2750mm respectively.

In terms of interior decoration, the overall layout of Changan UNI-V is relatively simple, the new car adopts the latest design concept of Changan, 3x1 quadruple screen layout design, in addition, the new car is equipped with IMS intelligent cockpit interaction system, which supports navigation, Bluetooth, car networking, OTA upgrade and other functions.

On the power side, according to previously disclosed information, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T engine, maximum power 138kW, peak torque 300N ·m, matched by a seven-speed wet double clutch gearbox, and a 2.0T+8AT model will be launched later, according to official sources.

Previously, Changan UNI series models were said to be the key products for the brand's younger transformation. When the automobile industry looked at its development process, the data showed that Changan UNI series products were first launched in June 2020. In a short period of time, UNI series UNI-T and UNI-K have formed a trend of popular models.

UNI-T, the first product of Changan UNI series, was officially launched on June 21, 2020 with an official guiding price of 11.39-133900 yuan. The front face of the UNI-T adopts a "borderless" design, and the diamond in the center spreads around and integrates with the front face. The split headlights and daily running lights on both sides of the front look very sharp, and the whole car is sci-fi avant-garde. In terms of power, it is equipped with 1.5T blue whale engine, maximum power 132kw, peak torque 300N m, and the transmission system matches the 7-gear double clutch gearbox.

UNI-K, the second model of the Changan UNI series, was officially launched on March 18, with a total of four models with a price range of 15.39-184900 yuan. In appearance, the car is similar to the UNI-T, using a borderless forward air grille design, except that the diamond is replaced by scales. In terms of power, it is equipped with BlueKing 2.0T four-cylinder turbocharged engine with maximum power of 171kw and peak torque of 390N ·m. It matches Ericsson 8AT gearbox and provides an optional version with just-in-time all-wheel drive system.

In terms of sales, in the past 2021, the cumulative sales of UNI-T and UNI-K were 83461 and 36436 respectively.

In addition, Changan UNI-K iDD has officially started pre-sale on January 6 this year, a total of two models have been launched, and the official pre-sale price is 17.69-192900 yuan. This is the first model of Changan Automobile equipped with Blue Whale iDD hybrid system, BlueKing IDD hybrid system composed of 1.5T engine and motor, NEDC integrated pure electric range 130km, integrated mileage 1100km, implying that with the listing of UNI-K iDD models Domestic independent brand gas-electric hybrid models will have more fierce market competition.

With the passage of time, after the listing of Changan UNI-V, Changan Uni "KTV" series will be further improved, and the UNI-V positioning compact sedan is expected to compete with the leading sports young car products, including Honda Civic, Lecke 03, Chuanqi Shadow Leopard and other models.
