His behavior has constituted the crime of accepting bribes and bribery. He was sentenced to seven years in prison and fined 300,000 yuan in the first instance according to law.

However, BAIC executives are confident about the future development of BAIC New Energy. At the media communication meeting of BAIC Group in mid-January, Zhang Xiyong, general manager of BAIC Group, revealed to the media the next part of the goals and development focus of the three independent plates of BAIC Group. Zhang Xiyong said that BAIC New Energy's sales target this year is 100,000 vehicles, including 40,000 polar foxes, and it will strive to impact 300,000 vehicles in the future; however, according to the latest sales volume released by BAIC Blue Valley, although it increased by 97.95% year-on-year in January, the sales volume was only 2122 vehicles. According to the target of 100,000 vehicles, the target completion rate in January was only 2%.
