The Xiaopeng G9, the fourth model of Xiaopeng and its first medium-and large-scale SUV, was officially unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show as early as November 18, 2021, but the exact price of the car was not announced at that time, if the above news is true, the pre-sale price of the new car will also be announced at the opening of the Beijing auto show. According to previous reports from the automotive industry, the Xiaopeng G9 is the first model with the new Xiaopeng LOGO logo, which is equipped with Xpilot 4.0 driving assistance, lidar and smart chassis and air suspension system, which is usually only suitable for high-end cars. It is positioned as a medium and large pure electric SUV, and the price is expected to be between 30 and 400000 yuan.

In terms of appearance, the new car uses the latest family-style design language, such as the new car uses the iconic split headlamp group with the lower penetrating air intake, which makes the whole car highly recognizable. At the same time, the new car front face part of the penetrating light belt also further increases the visual effect of the new car. On the side of the body, the body structure of the new car is more square, with a horizontal high waistline running through the body and dividing the whole car in a golden proportion longitudinally, making the whole car look more hierarchical. In terms of vehicle size, the official has not yet released specific size data, but from the previous auto show, people in the industry speculated that the new car is expected to be about 5 meters, with a high probability of more than 3 meters wheelbase. After the new car is on the market, it may compete with ES8, Lantu FREE, ideal ONE, ID.6 X/ID.6 CROZZ and other models.

In the interior part, it is expected that the new car will adopt a new dual-amplitude steering wheel design and multi-screen design. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with X-EEA 3.0electronic and electrical architecture and a highly integrated hardware architecture of central supercomputing and regional control. Based on this architecture, the new car can be equipped with higher-performance chips, support a higher level of intelligent driving assistance and a more powerful intelligent cockpit, which makes the Xiaopeng G9 the first production car to support XPILOT 4.0intelligent driving assistance system.

Power has not been officially announced, and it is reported that the new car will be equipped with XPower 3.0 power system, which is the first mass-produced car with 800V high voltage SiC platform in China, with a maximum charging power of up to 480kW. According to official information, the system will overcharge 5min in the future and last the charging speed of 200km. In addition, Xiaopeng Automobile will also mass-produce 480kW high-pressure overcharge piles in China.

At present, there is not much official information about Xiaopeng G9 model, and the follow-up auto industry will continue to pay attention to more developments of the new car.

So far, Xiaopeng has three models on sale, including Xiaopeng P7, Xiaopeng G3 and Xiaopeng P5. In terms of sales, Xiaopeng released its first report card of the New year at the beginning of this month. Xiaopeng delivered a total of 12922 new cars in January, of which 6707 were delivered by Xiaopeng P7, 4029 by P5 and 2186 by Xiaopeng G3, leading a group of new car companies and becoming the best-performing new car company in the first month.

Looking back on the past year, Xiaopeng's cumulative sales volume for the whole year is also the largest among the new car-building forces in China. Xiaopeng delivered a total of 98155 new cars in 2021, exceeding the original target of 90, 000.

For this year's sales target, Xiaopeng previously revealed that the full year 2022 sales target of 250000 vehicles, and to 300000 vehicles. Among them, the proportion of P7 models is 40%. The proportion of P5 models is 27%. In addition, the G9, which went on sale this year, will be delivered in small quantities at the end of August and on a large scale at the end of September. Due to the late delivery cycle of new cars, G9 models account for 14% of expected sales, that is, P7 models, P5 models and G9 models account for 81% of the total sales target for the year, while G3 models account for 19%. As a result, Xiaopeng G9 is expected to sell 35000 vehicles a year after its launch, but if Xiaopeng G9 starts delivery in August, it will have to meet its sales target of 35000 vehicles in less than five months. In addition, Xiaopeng previously said that the subsequent monthly sales target may reach 30, 000 to 40, 000 vehicles.
