From the point of view of appearance, the mid-term modified focus is basically consistent with the overseas model design, but the domestic models also have targeted adjustments, the front enclosure adopts a penetrating design, and the new style headlights and front grille are also replaced. by contrast, the design of domestic models is more exaggerated.

Data show that the first-generation Ford focus was officially launched in 1998 and the second-generation focus was launched in 2004, which is the best-selling compact car under Ford. As a Ford joint venture in China, Changan Ford introduced the European focus into the domestic market in 2005, launching hatchback and hatchback models, powered by 1.8L and 2.0L engines. But consumers just don't pay, and sales have continued to decline since then, with monthly sales now at 4000. Since then, in order to save the market, Zhengzhou Nissan resumed production of the old generation Qijun, equipped with 2.0L four-cylinder engine, the price is 189200 yuan and 192800 yuan respectively, but from the current performance, it has failed to drive the overall sales of Qijun.

So can Fox return to its peak after replacing the four-cylinder engine? Take Yinglong, Marebo XL and other models as an example, sales have picked up obviously after the replacement of four-cylinder engines. Take Yinglong as an example, it has sold 278578 vehicles in the past 2021, second only to Xuanyi, Lang Yi, Wuling Hongguang and Carola, ranking fifth on the car list. From this point of view, the Fox in the replacement of the four-cylinder engine is bound to bring sales growth, but it is not easy to return to the top. In the past two years, Ford has made a lot of efforts in the Chinese market, launching new models such as Ruiji, EVOS, domestic explorers, etc., and sales are gradually picking up, but as a veteran, Fox has always been in the doldrums, so it is imperative to replace the four-cylinder.
