On February 18, SAIC Audi announced the price of the Audi Q5 e-tron. The new car launched a total of five models with two kinds of power, including a price range of 39.55-405500 yuan for 40 e-tron and 48.55-510000 yuan for 50 e-tron quattro.

At the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, SAIC Audi brought the Concept Shanghai concept car, while the Audi Q5 e-tron is a mass-production version of Concept Shanghai. At the same time, Audi Q5 e-tron has a certain connection with SAIC-Volkswagen ID.6 X. it is also positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV and is also built on the MQB platform. Some netizens even think that Audi Q5 e-tron is a hulled ID.6 X. Of course, no matter how Audi Q5 e-tron is related to ID.6 X, as a luxury brand owned by SAIC-Volkswagen, Q5 e-tron is very luxurious and technological.

Audi Q5 e-tron is not a pure electric version of Audi Q5L, it is based on the Concept Shanghai concept car, the front face uses a large-size polygonal closed intake grille, the shape of the array LED headlight group still has the reputation of Audi "lamp factory", and the new car has a dual-appearance design, respectively, brocade suit set and machine armor set. In the rear part, Audi Q5 e-tron uses a penetrating LED taillight group, the overall shape is flat but layered, and the word "SAIC Audi" shows its domestic identity, with the e-tron logo. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4876/1860/1675mm, the wheelbase is 2965mm, and the length and wheelbase are higher than those of the domestic Audi Q5L, which is close to the ID.6 X of SAIC Volkswagen.

In the interior part, the overall layout of the Audi Q5 e-tron is similar to that of the previously listed Audi e-tron, with a double screen design, an 11.6inch central control screen tilting to the driver's side, equipped with AR HUD, enhanced digital meters, a new generation of MMI system, etc., with polygonal chrome decoration inside the multi-function steering wheel and touch design for buttons. In addition, the suspension design is adopted in the shift area, which has a good sense of overall design. It should be noted that the 40 e-tron uses a 7-seat layout and the 50 e-tron uses a 6-seat layout.

In terms of power, the new car will introduce 40 e-tron (single motor) and 50 e-tron quattro (dual motor). The former has a combined maximum power of 204hp, a peak torque of 310Nm and a range of 560km (CLTC). The latter has a combined maximum power of 306hp, a peak torque of 460Nm and a range of 520km (CLTC).

At present, SAIC Audi has unveiled two models, Audi A7L and Audi Q5 e-tron, in which Audi A7L introduces 2.0T (45TFSI) and 3.0T (55TFSI), of which 2.0T is priced at 45.97-519700 yuan and 3.0t is priced at 59.97-696700 yuan. The biggest difference between the two models lies in the power system. The Audi A7L 55TFSI is equipped with a 3.0T V6 engine, a maximum 250kw (340hp), a peak torque of 500N ·m, a seven-speed wet double-clutch transmission and a standard Quatro four-wheel drive system. The Audi A7L 45TFSI is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 180kw (245hp) and a peak torque of 370N ·m, matching a seven-speed wet double-clutch transmission.

Audi Q5 e-tron is the second production car of SAIC Audi and the first pure electric SUV under SAIC Audi. As a medium-sized SUV, it has certain advantages in body size, and the two kinds of power output and mileage also provide consumers with more choices. In addition, although the name of the model is similar to that of Audi Q5L, the two cars are completely different products, and the choice of fuel car or pure electric car depends on personal needs.

In addition, SAIC Audi's third production car, Q6L, is expected to be put into production at a factory in Hangzhou Bay New area in Ningbo in June. According to the Trademark Office, SAIC Audi's medium-sized SUV may be named "Q6L". The new car is holding a road test in Volkswagen's Tuang, and is expected to debut at the Beijing Auto Show as soon as April. The Audi Q6L is based on the MLB vertical platform, and the overall size is expected to be the same as that of Tuang. Judging from the espionage photos exposed, the Audi Q6L will continue to use a family-style hexagonal large front grille with a crisscross middle net inside. The headlight groups on both sides may adopt a split structure, the upper part is a flow turn signal and LED daytime driving lights, and the lower part is a headlight group with both far and near lights.

Judging from the existing news, Q6 will become the third mass production car of SAIC Audi after A7L and Q5 e-tron, and it will also be the first fuel SUV under SAIC Audi. Q6 will be positioned as a medium and large SUV, between Q5L and Q7, and is expected to sell for 50-700000 yuan.

In other words, by the end of 2022, SAIC Audi will have A7L, Q5 e-tron and Q6L production cars. Jia Mingdi, general manager of SAIC Audi, said earlier that he hoped to achieve sales of more than 40,000 vehicles in the first year, but he also believed that "the sales target for 2022 is not the most important. SAIC Audi hopes to continue to build and consolidate its brand image and positioning."
