Recently, the car circle exposed an entitled "[FAW Toyota] employees purchase applicable models and price list", including Asian Dragon, Carola, Yize, Rongfang, AsiaLion, Lingfang and other models on sale. It should be noted that the concern of the automobile industry can not confirm the authenticity of the contents of the form, only as a reference analysis.

According to the disclosed car purchase price list of internal employees, it indicates that the sales target is FAW Group employees. But it does not include FTMS (FAW Toyota Motor sales Co., Ltd.), TFTM (Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.), SFTM (Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.), SFTM CF (Sichuan FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd.), FTRD (FAW Toyota Technology Development Co., Ltd.) and FAW Toyota (Changchun) engine Co., Ltd.

FAW updated the applicable car models and price list for its employees (FAW Toyota) and added the preferential purchase price of the newly listed Toyota Ling Fang model, compared with the current situation that there is no discount or price increase in Toyota Ling Fang terminal market. Due to the shortage of chips and the heat of the market, Toyota Lingfang has no discount on the market and needs to wait for the bus. On the contrary, FAW internal employees buy Toyota Lingfang with a general discount of 30,000 to 40,000 yuan. The latest employee quotation table shows that Toyota Lingfang models have different degrees of discount. Take Lingfang HEV 2.5L flagship four-wheel drive version with the highest market guidance price as an example, the guidance price is 289800 yuan, the employee price is 259800 yuan, the discount range is 40, 000 yuan; the 2.5 L premium four-wheel drive version guidance price is 282800 yuan, the employee price is 243800 yuan, and the same discount is 40, 000 yuan. In addition, other 2.0L fuel version and 2.5L hybrid version also have greater discounts, both between 30,000 and 40,000 yuan.

FAW Toyota Asia Lion officially launched on April 10, 2021, the new car launched a total of 5 models, the guiding price range is 14.28-179800 yuan. It is understood that the Asian lion based on the TNGA platform, positioning compact A+ class cars, between Carola and Asian dragons. However, the temptation for internal employees to buy cars is still great. For example, the guide price of the Asian Lion 2.0L premium version with the highest price in the table is 161800 yuan, and the employee price is 137530 yuan, with a discount of 24270 yuan. The lowest price of 2.0L enterprising version is 144800 yuan, the employee price is 123380 yuan, and the discount is more than 20, 000 yuan.

As for other models, Toyota Asian dragon workers have a wage discount of about 40, 000 yuan, which is much higher than the market discount; Toyota RAV4 has a basic discount of about 30, 000 yuan, and Yize and Carola have a basic discount of about 20, 000 yuan. Of course, the discounted products don't cover all models. For example, the Corolla only offers two models, the 1.2T Elite PLUS version and the 1.8L Elite version. In addition, according to the choice of body color, platinum white needs to be increased by 2000 yuan, not included in the discount range.

It should be noted that the average consumer who buys a car in a 4S store needs to pay a licensing service fee, purchase insurance, and if the loan and financial service fees, this part of the fee is earned by the 4S store, so even under preferential circumstances, the final landing price for consumers is basically higher than the manufacturer's guiding price, while the direct purchase of cars by employees within the manufacturer may mention naked cars. Of course, the purchase price of internal employees is limited to internal employees, as others we can only envy. At the same time, employees are generally required to sign the so-called "bundling agreement" when buying discounted new cars from within. Employees cannot sell the purchased vehicles within 1-3 years of normal use of the vehicles, but the internal regulations of different manufacturers are different.

Data show that FAW-Toyota retail sales totaled 846300 vehicles in 2021, an increase of 7.5 per cent over the same period last year. Of these, the Corolla had the highest sales of 303200, followed by RAV4 with 203400.
