The cumulative sales volume of terminal vehicles of GAC Honda from January to February was 131150; the cumulative sales volume of terminal vehicles of Dongfeng Honda from January to February was 121575.

According to Honda's February sales data, GAC Honda's sales volume is almost the same as Dongfeng Honda's sales volume. The sales volume of the two brands is only a few thousand units apart, but Honda officials have not announced the sales of specific models at present.

At present, the exposure of the domestic patent map of the brand-new Honda Binzhi has been exposed online, and it is expected that the new car will be launched within this year. In addition, the brand-new generation of Civic TYPE R, which was previously unveiled at Tokyo Modification Exhibition, will be introduced into domestic sales in the form of import within this year. It is expected that the car will be launched in China in September this year, but Dongfeng Honda has not announced specific reservation information.

It is worth mentioning that on October 13 last year, Honda China released an electric strategy, launching a new pure electric brand "e:N" and a new intelligent and efficient pure electric architecture "e:N Architecture". Honda China said it would launch 10 pure electric models for the Chinese market in the next five years, sell only pure electric and hybrid models in China from 2030, stop launching new fuel vehicles, and strive to sell 800,000 pure electric vehicles in China by 2030.

At the press conference, Honda China launched two brand-new pure electric vehicles, one for Dongfeng Honda e: NS1 and the other for GAC Honda e: NP1. In addition, Dongfeng Honda will launch three e:N brand models in the next five years. At present, the two models have been unveiled at Wuhan Auto Show in 2021 and Guangzhou Auto Show in 2021 respectively. On February 8 this year, Dongfeng Honda took over the second factory of Shenlong Automobile located in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. After transformation, the factory will become a brand-new factory specialized in producing pure electric automobile models. According to the planning, the planned annual production capacity of the factory is 256,000 vehicles. It is planned to be officially put into operation in 2024, with a basic annual production capacity of 120,000 vehicles at the initial stage. The transformed "Shenlong No.2 Factory" may become Honda's first new energy benchmark factory in the world, providing strong support for Dongfeng Honda's transformation to electrification.

With the landing of new factories and the gradual launch of several new models, Honda's sales may be further improved. According to the data, Honda's terminal sales volume in China in January this year was 146,600 vehicles, down 6.9% year-on-year, including 79973 vehicles for GAC Honda and 66668 vehicles for Dongfeng Honda. On specific models, the terminal sales volume of Accord exceeded 20,000 vehicles, and the terminal sales volume of Binzhihaoying, CR-V, Civic, XR-V and Yingshipai exceeded 10,000 vehicles. In addition, as a brand-new model of Honda under the domestic dual-car strategy, Guangzhou Automobile Honda has been loved by many consumers after its launch. GAC Honda model was launched on December 16 last year. Six new models were launched, with prices ranging from 129,900 yuan to 166,900 yuan. Data show that January sales of 6285 vehicles.
