The new car has already appeared in the 352nd batch of new car declaration catalogue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. According to the data in the catalogue, there will be two versions of the new car, with maximum mileage of 715km and 610km respectively. Combined with the previous declaration information and the exposure of the real car, in terms of appearance, the shape of the new BYD EV is basically the same as that of the current model, but it is different in detail. The new car uses a brand-new Dragon Face design language, the front face is designed with a semi-closed air intake grille, it has a larger front air intake, and the decorative strips on both sides under the front of the new car adopt a new style. The vehicle also uses the LED taillight set shown below, which is significantly different from the models on sale, and compared with the current models, the new car as a whole looks sharper and sportier. In addition, according to the previous declaration information, the new car also offers a variety of wheel rim style options, brake calipers and wheel core cover shape will also provide green options. On the side of the body, the new car continues to use smooth styling, with little change as a whole. In the rear part of the car, the new car is still decorated with through-type taillights and chrome-plated strips, but the internal structure of the taillight group is optimized and the recognition degree of lighting at night is higher. In addition, the surrounding part of the bottom of the new car has also been adjusted, the installation location of the license plate has added a trapezoidal shape, and the bottom is a shovel-shaped sports decoration. In terms of body size, the new BYD EV has a length, width and height of 4995/1910/1495mm and wheelbase 2920mm, respectively, and is located in a medium-sized sedan. Compared with the current model, the EV size of the new car is slightly longer, and the length of the car is increased by 15mm.

In the interior part, there is no relevant news about the interior decoration of the new car, and it is expected that the new car will be consistent with the cash model.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with lithium iron phosphate blade battery, providing single-motor and dual-motor versions, the peak power of the single-motor version is 180kW, and the maximum power of the dual-motor version is 180/200kW respectively. In addition, the biggest highlight of the new car is its range performance. Both the two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions are equipped with 85.440kWh battery packs, with a range of 715km for the two-wheel drive version and 610km for the four-wheel drive version. The best version of the current model is the two-wheel drive ultra-long-range version, which is 605 km, while the emergence of the 715 km version directly improves the range of 110 km.

Since the launch of BYD Han EV, a large number of potential customers have been harvested. In terms of sales, according to data released by BYD, BYD sold a total of 593700 new energy passenger vehicles in 2021, an increase of 231.6% over the same period last year, including 320800 EV models, an increase of 144.9% over the same period last year. In the first two months of this year, BYD Han EV sold 18991 vehicles, including 10050 BYD EV in January and 8941 EV in February, which is second only to BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class and surpasses Audi A6L in the current medium-and large-scale car market. With the launch of the new BYD Han EV this year, it is expected to bring better results for BYD Han EV.
