At the New York Auto Show, Volkswagen announced the official launch of the new concept model of Volkswagen Tuen, the Atlas Basecamp Concept (camping SUV). The appearance of the new car uses a hardline style and is adjusted for passability. Volkswagen has created a hardline and versatile style in Tuang to drive potential consumers.

The new car uses Traverse MX Concept wheels and is wrapped in 265ap70 R17 all-terrain tires. The custom body kit is designed by Air Design and there is also a Himr lift kit with adjustable coils to increase the height by approximately 1.5in. Other additional features include off-road LED light bars, functional bicycle frames and trunk protective interior accessories with luggage brackets on the roof, and trailer trailers.

In terms of power, the new car uses a North American version of the SEL powertrain, a 3.6L naturally aspirated VR6 engine with a maximum power of 280hp, matching an 8-speed manual integrated transmission and a 4motor all-wheel drive system. It is worth mentioning that the Atlas Basecamp Concept in the official picture is also equipped with an HIVE EX trailer with a double bed, mini kitchen, water tank and propane fuel tank.
