In terms of battery life, Han DM-i will provide lithium iron phosphate blade batteries with capacity of 18.3kwh and 37.5kwh, and pure electric mileage of 121km and 242km under NEDC comprehensive operating conditions, respectively. The Han DM-p model will be equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 37.5kwh, and the pure electric mileage of NEDC under comprehensive operating conditions will be 202kw, which is also the highest pure electric mileage among the plug-in hybrid models sold in China.
Data show that Han is a medium and large car owned by BYD, which appeared on the market in July 2020. it is the first model equipped with BYD "blade battery" and launched two versions of Han EV and Han DM, of which Han DM currently sells for 21.98-242800 yuan and Han EV for 20.98-284500 yuan. According to the data of the Federation of passengers, Han's cumulative sales in 2021 are 117323, including 87082 for Han EV and 30241 for Han DM.
BYD blade battery and DM-i hybrid system are the main sources of BYD's soaring car sales, especially the DM-i model, which is supported by both DM-i hybrid system and blade battery, so the sales of Qin PLUS DM-i and Song Pro DM-i are generally higher than Qin PLUS EV and Song Pro EV, while Han is an exception. The Han DM model does not use DM-i hybrid system. As a result, the sales volume of Han EV is always higher than that of Han DM. Therefore, after BYD launches the Han DM-i model, it can be predicted that the future sales of Han DM-i may be higher than that of Han EV.
With the popularity of BYD's DM-i hybrid system, more and more autonomous car companies begin to speed up the layout of hybrid, such as Great Wall Lemon DHT, Changan Blue Whale iDD, and Chery Xingtu ET-i all-engine superhybrid. It is not difficult to see that when traditional fuel vehicles are about to usher in a change, and pure electric vehicles still have problems such as mileage anxiety and charging anxiety, the launch of hybrid models balances the problems between the two, and there is no life anxiety. there is no difficulty in charging, and it is expected to become popular in the market. However, according to the hybrid system launched by a number of car companies, the advantage of BYD DM-i is still larger, especially under the blessing of blade battery, the gap is further widened.
