In terms of price, the domestic BMW X5 has been sold by import, with reference to the imported BMW X5 selling price of 69.99-863900 yuan in China, as the BMW X5 is listed as a domestic model, the cost will reduce import duties and other expenses. therefore, the overall price of the domestic BMW X5 may decline, and the price is expected to be in the range of 50-600000 yuan.

At present, brilliance BMW has a total of X1, X2 and X3 SUV, of which the brilliance BMW X1 positioning compact SUV with official instruction price of 27.98-339800 yuan; brilliance BMW X2 positioning compact SUV with official instruction price of 28.58-323800; brilliance BMW X3 positioning medium-sized SUV with official guidance price of 39.28-479800. After the launch of the BMW X5 model, it will become the first medium and large SUV of the BBA. As the first medium and large SUV of BMW brilliance, the BMW X5 will compete with Mercedes-Benz GLE and Audi Q7 after its launch. According to official sources, in addition to launching the domestic BMW X5 model, brilliance will also launch another exclusive model also aimed at the Chinese market.

On the sales side, data show that brilliance BMW sales rose 20.4 per cent to 89083 vehicles in January from a year earlier, making it into the top 10 for the first time, but sales declined in February and fell 6.1 per cent to 37001 vehicles in February. In terms of specific models, from January to February this year, BMW 3-Series accumulated sales of 25158 vehicles, making BMW brilliance the highest selling model; BMW X1 Series cumulative sales of 17469 vehicles; BMW X2 Series cumulative sales of 4172 vehicles.

The first generation of BMW X5 was born in 2000. Looking back at the sales of BMW X5 in the past two years, BMW X5 sold 43000 vehicles in China in 2020 and 50, 000 in 2021.
