On April 1, the New Power brand announced its latest delivery results as scheduled. According to the ranking of auto industry statistics concerned about statistics, four new power car companies sold more than 10,000 vehicles in March, of which Xiaopeng was the highest of 15414, Nawei was 12026, ideal car and zero running car were 11034 and 10059, respectively. As the leader of the New Power brand, it delivered less than 10,000 vehicles in March, only 9985, ranking at the bottom of the New Power brand that has released delivery data.

Xiaopeng's record is still the brightest. Data show that Xiaopeng delivered a total of 15414 new cars in January, of which 9183 were delivered for the P7, 4398 for the P5 and 1833 for the G3. In February, Xiaopeng delivered 6225 cars, halving month-on-month. At that time, Xiaopeng attributed the halving of sales to "technical transformation of the Zhaoqing base and full resumption of production in mid-February." With the completion of the factory transformation, orders squeezed by Xiaopeng in February were delivered in March, eventually leading the brand with a score of 15414 vehicles. In addition, Xiaopeng delivered a total of 34561 cars in the first quarter, an increase of 159.1% over the same period last year.

Even though the Xiaopeng P7 set an all-time high with a score of 9183, its bicycle sales are still not as good as the ideal ONE. Data show that the ideal ONE delivered 11034 vehicles in March 2022 and a cumulative total of 31716 vehicles in the first quarter. Shen Yanan, co-founder of ideal Motor, said, "production has been affected by the shortage of some spare parts due to the epidemic in the Yangtze River Delta, and more measures are being taken to ensure the supply of spare parts, ensure production as much as possible, and shorten the waiting period for ideal ONE users to pick up cars."

It is understood that the ideal car will release its second model, the ideal L9, on April 16. the new car will be built on the second generation add-on platform, positioning a large SUV, and will use an incremental power system composed of a 1.5T four-cylinder engine and an electric motor. This also means that the ideal car will no longer rely solely on the ideal ONE. Of course, as a large SUV, the price range of the ideal L9 is expected to be 45-500000 yuan. It is not known whether the launch of the new car will affect the development of the ideal ONE.

The performance of Xilai in March was both unexpected and reasonable. Data show that 9985 cars were delivered in March 2022, making it the only new power brand whose sales failed to exceed 10,000, ranking at the bottom. At the same time, sales of ES6 have not exceeded 10,000 for three consecutive months. Insiders said, "carbon fiber is produced in Langfang, where the current epidemic is quite serious." However, the performance of Xilai Motor is also reasonable. According to the annual financial report, Lulai is expected to deliver 25000-26000 vehicles in the first quarter, while a total of 25768 vehicles were delivered in the first quarter, in line with expectations.

In addition, ideal, NIO and Xiaopeng have all announced their annual financial reports one after another. On the whole, the annual revenue of ideal, Lulai and Xiaopeng is 27.01 billion yuan, 36.1364 billion yuan and 20.988 billion yuan respectively, the annual net loss is 151.7 million yuan, 4.0169 billion yuan and 4.863 billion yuan respectively, and the gross profit margin of the whole vehicle is 20.6%, 20.1% and 11.5% respectively. Annual sales are 90491, 91429 and 98155 respectively.

Compared with ideal, Xiaopeng and NIO, the performance of the second-tier new power brand is getting stronger and stronger, with zero-running cars attracting the most attention. A total of 10059 new cars were delivered in March 2022, with a cumulative delivery of 21579 in the first quarter, with monthly delivery exceeding 10,000 for the first time. In February, the delivery of zero-running cars was only 3435, down 57.5 percent from a month earlier, which was attributed to "due to the Spring Festival holiday and the tension in the supply chain of chips and batteries." After a certain backlog of orders, Zero experienced explosive growth in March and suddenly climbed to the level of 10,000 vehicles. Of course, the sharp doubling of March and the first quarter compared with the same period last year does not have much reference value, mainly due to the low delivery volume in the same period in 2021, and it is also worth watching whether zero-running cars can continue the delivery of 10,000 vehicles in the future.

It should be noted that Zero submitted its listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on March 17, and if nothing happens, it will become the fourth new power company to list on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. According to the prospectus, the total income of Zero Auto from 2019 to 2021 is 117 million yuan, 631 million yuan and 3.132 billion yuan respectively, and the operating losses are 730 million yuan, 869 million yuan and 2.868 billion yuan respectively. The losses attributable to equity holders during the year are about 901 million yuan, 110 million yuan and 2.846 billion yuan respectively.

As for Nafu, delivery has continued to climb since the second half of 2021, surpassing ideal cars in September and October 2021, as well as in March, leading the ideal car delivery list with 12026 vehicles, but there is still a certain gap between the cumulative delivery of 30152 cars in the first quarter and the ideal car.

It should be noted that the above analysis is limited to sales volume, after all, each car company's product positioning is different. Take NIO Automobile as an example, although its delivery volume is at the bottom, the models on sale under NIO are all priced at more than 300000 yuan, which can not be matched by other new power brands. and where the car, zero-running car sales continue to rise to a large extent depends on the volume of low-end models, such as Nezhong V, Zero running T03 and so on. From this point of view, it doesn't make much sense to over-analyze the level of sales.

In addition, other new energy vehicle brands have also released monthly sales. Geely delivered 1795 polar krypton cars in March, the third consecutive month of month-on-month decline, which officials blamed on the epidemic and chip supply. Dongfeng's Lantu cars delivered 1400 vehicles in March, an increase of 89.2% over the previous month.

In March, the above new energy vehicle brands all announced an increase in the price of their models. Xiaopeng, ideal car, Nahan car and zero-running car rose 10, 000, 200, 000, 11800, 5000 and 20, 000 yuan, respectively. At present, only NIO said that it has no plans to increase the price for the time being, while polar krypton, Lantu and other brands have also announced the date of price increase recently.
