According to reports, Mr. Deng, owner of the Xiaopeng P7 in Yueyang, Hunan Province, reported to the media that he had driven more than ten kilometers on the national highway while turning on the autopilot function. In front of him, a car overturned in the middle of the road, but the Xiaopeng P7 did not give any alarm or slowed down and went straight into the accident car. Mr. Deng said that when he found something unusual, he put on an emergency brake, but the vehicle did not respond. At the same time, according to Mr. Deng's driving recorder, not only did the vehicle not slow down before the impact, but the acceleration even rose.
Judging from the video on the scene, the Xiaopeng P7 was seriously damaged after the crash, and the airbag inside the car also ejected, but fortunately, there was no major accident.
