According to the previous planning of Chang 'an Automobile for new energy vehicles, Chang' an Automobile plans to stop selling fuel vehicles in 2025. On March 26, Zhu Huarong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Chang 'an Automobile, proposed at the Forum of 100 People of Electric Vehicles that Chang' an Automobile plans to achieve sales volume of 1.05 million new energy vehicles by 2025, accounting for 35% of the sales proportion of new vehicles; By 2030, the annual sales volume will reach 2.7 million vehicles, accounting for 60% of the sales proportion of new vehicles. Zhu Huarong also said that with the acceleration of new energy vehicles, the competition in China's fuel vehicle market will become more intense. In 2021, there will be 85 brands in the traditional fuel vehicle market, of which 34 brands will sell less than 1,000 units per month and 9 brands will die out. It believes that in the next 3-5 years, 80% of China's fuel vehicle brands will be "shut down and turned"(i.e. closed, discontinued, merged, transformed), simply put, in the next 3-5 years, only a few car companies will be able to continue to develop in the Chinese market as fuel vehicles, and others will either close down, merge, or transform.

In terms of specific model planning, on August 24,2021, Chang 'an Automobile released a brand-new pure electric car with internal code C385. At present, the car has not been officially named. The new car is expected to be launched in the second quarter, or become the first model of the brand-new brand Chang 'an Deep Blue, but whether this is the case will be subject to official announcement. Official news confirms that tomorrow (April 13) is Chang' an's global partner conference, and it is expected that the official brand name will be finally announced tomorrow.

The internal code C385 model is the first model under the brand-new platform, which will be built based on the CHN architecture jointly built by Chang 'an, Huawei and Ningde era. Combined with the official pictures released before, in terms of appearance, the new car adopts the brand-new electric vehicle design style of Chang 'an Automobile, and the overall shape is very novel. The front part of the new car adopts a completely enclosed grille, equipped with LED headlights similar to "petals" on both sides, and the new car also adopts the popular split-type headlight design. On the side of the body, the new car uses the current very popular hatchback tailgate design, but also uses hidden door handles, from the picture, the rim design style of the new car is also very consistent with the positioning of pure electric vehicles. At the rear of the car, the new car adopts through-type taillights and is equipped with a two-segment fixed spoiler, which is generally sporty.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4820/1890/1480mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2900mm, positioning the medium-sized car. For comparison, Tesla Model 3 has a length, width and height of 4694/1850/1443mm and a wheelbase of 2875 mm.

In the interior part, the new car will be equipped with Huawei "Hongmeng Smart Cockpit". At the same time, the new car will be equipped with APA 7.0 remote unmanned valet parking system, electric drive high-frequency pulse heating technology and other technologies. In terms of power, the official has not announced yet, it is expected that the new car will provide pure electric car model and extended program two models, after the future launch will form a competitor with Tesla Model 3 and other models, of course, whether this is the final need for official announcement of more information before further verification.

It is understood that Chang 'an Automobile "CHN Project" has three platforms: EPA0, EPA1 and EPA2.
