From the overall list, due to the epidemic, parts supply, rising prices of new energy vehicles and other effects, the ranking of medium-sized car sales in March has changed greatly. First, the top-selling medium-sized car was replaced by Tesla Model 3, which sold 26024 vehicles that month, while Toyota Camry and Honda Accord ranked second and third, with 22518 and 14855 respectively. Although Model 3, Camry and Accord are in the top three, the gap in sales of the three models is relatively large. The gap between Model 3 and Camry is 3500, and that between Camry and Accord is 7600. In terms of specific models, the Model 3 is the only pure electric car, and its sales in the Chinese market are not optimistic in the first two months, because it mainly supplies the overseas market in the early stage and mainly supplies the Chinese market in March, so the Model 3 won the top spot in medium-sized car sales because of the lag of previous orders. As to whether the performance can be maintained in the future, it remains to be seen.

Ford Mondeo sold just 738 vehicles in March, the lowest since 2021, although that may have been affected by the launch of new cars. On April 13, Changan Ford's new-generation Mondeo officially launched four new models with a price range of 15.98-216800 yuan. As a reference, the 2020 Mondeo models on sale in cash cost 19.28-226800 yuan, with the starting price fully reduced by 33000 yuan. In a sense, the change of Mondeo is an inevitable trend, but it is not known whether the change is benign or not. From the list, medium-sized cars as a whole rely on Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and other mainstream joint venture brands, under the suppression of German-Japanese joint venture brands, some second-and third-tier brands can only increase the end market concessions, so as to maintain the overall sales level. Generally speaking, Camry, Accord, Teana, Maiteng and other models are relatively stable, Versailles and Mondeo have signs of breaking through the market, while Korean and legal systems still continue the depressed development trend.
