Hongqi brand is an independent high-end brand under FAW Group. most of its products are priced above 200000, and only Hongqi H5 is a medium-sized sedan with a price of less than 200000. At present, Hongqi's existing product camp has two major product systems: the car family and the SUV family, covering the middle and high-end market of 15-700000 yuan, covering fuel and pure electricity, among which the car family has four models: H5, H7, H9 and E-QM5, and the SUV family has four models: HS5, HS7, E-HS3 and E-HS9. In terms of sales volume, according to the wholesale sales released by Red Flag, since the launch of the new brand strategy in 2018, sales have increased to 25000 in 2018, to 100016 in 2019, to more than 200000 in 2020, and to 300000 in 2021. According to the data, the rapid development of the Red Flag brand cannot be found. For its 2022 sales target, FAW Red Flag has set a target of 450000-500000 vehicles. FAW Red Flag sold 63800 vehicles from January to February this year, up 40 per cent from a year earlier. In the future, FAW Red Flag will form four major product camps: h-series (mainstream cars), L-series (supreme cars), Q-series (commercial vehicles) and S-series (supercars). Up to now, all the products that have been listed belong to H series, which is also the main product series promoted by Red Flag brand. In the two months of this year, the best-selling models of FAW Hongqi cars were Hongqi HS5 and Hongqi H5, with sales of 25385 and 18197 respectively.
