According to the previously exposed Changan Ford product plan, a new generation of Mondeo has been launched, a new Fox and a new generation of explorers will be listed in the second quarter, and a new generation of sharp will be listed in the fourth quarter. A new generation of Taurus is not in the plan. At the same time, based on the official map of the new generation of Taurus, its design basically "copies" the new generation of Mondeo, using different product names for different markets.

At present, the Taurus model can no longer be found on Ford's official website, which also means that the Taurus series will come to an end, ending its 36-year life cycle and ending at the seventh generation of products, while the new generation Mondeo will shoulder the responsibility of the domestic medium-sized car market and bear the unrealized dream of Taurus.
