The prices of the two models have been adjusted, but the new EQA and EQB entry version have cancelled the AMG appearance sports kit. Specifically, the new EQA only launched a single-motor model EQA 260, the vehicle price is 321800 yuan, compared with the old dual-motor model price reduced by 44000 yuan; the new EQB launched a total of two models, respectively, EQB 260 and 2022 EQB 350 4MATIC, of which EQB 260 is a new model, the price is 351800 yuan, EQB 350 4MATIC price is 423700 yuan, under this, the starting price of the new car is reduced by 86000 yuan compared with the old model.

In terms of appearance, as the new car is an annual revamped model, there is not much difference between the new car and the EQA 300s on sale. The new car uses a large area of black panels to create a closed front face, which is connected to the headlights on both sides and through daylight in the center. The difference is that the new car is surrounded by a three-stage style, and the front lips are decorated with chrome, while the current EQA 300s use a through-and-through enclosure. The side and rear parts of the car body are basically consistent with the cash model, and the rear part is designed with through-type taillights. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4463, 1834 and 1619 respectively, the wheelbase is 2729mm, and the positioning is pure electric compact SUV.

In the interior part, the new car still has a 10.25-inch central touch screen and full liquid crystal meter, and is equipped with the latest generation of MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system. In terms of power, the new car uses a single front motor with a maximum power of 140kW, a peak torque of 380N ·m, a 73.5kWh battery pack and a CLTC 619km. Compared with the current model EQA 300, the new car has removed a rear motor. Considering the positioning and price of the above models, the new car will compete with Tesla Model Y, Polar Krypton 001 and other 300000-class SUV.

In terms of appearance, the new EQB also continues the design style of cash models on sale, the new car as a whole is more square, the front face uses a "dark night star wing" closed net design, the center is a star logo, the top is a through-type light belt design, with LED daytime driving lights on both sides, the overall recognition is higher. The side and rear part of the body, the design of the new car is relatively simple. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4684/1834/1693mm and the wheelbase is 2829mm. In terms of appearance and color, the new car provides a total of 7 body colors.

In the interior part, the new car is equipped with the popular double screen, the LCD instrument and the central control screen are both 10.25in. In terms of seat layout, the new car offers two options: five-seat version and seven-seat version, of which the new car has a five-seat layout and the EQB 3504MATIC uses a seven-seat layout.

In terms of power, the model is equipped with a single front motor with a maximum power of 140kW and a peak torque of 380Nm, with a range of 600km under CLTC conditions; the 3504MATIC model is equipped with a front and rear motor with a total power of 215kW, a total peak torque of 520Nm, and a range of 512km under CLTC conditions.

According to the concern of the automotive industry, domestic pure electric cars EQA and EQB are "oil-to-electricity" products launched by Mercedes-Benz in 2021, both of which are based on fuel versions of GLA and GLB. The car is expected to go on sale this year. In addition, the new EQE, Mercedes-EQ's first pure electric car produced in China based on the EVA platform, is also expected to be made in China by the end of this year. According to Mercedes-Benz's plan, this year, Mercedes-Benz will launch eight new energy products, including new EQS pure electric SUV, new EQE, new Mercedes-AMG EQS 534MATIC+ and other pure electric products.

For BBA, the current family flagship SUV of BMW and Audi are iX and e-tron, respectively. BMW iX3 and Audi e-tron sold 22683 and 1439 pure electric SUV models in 2021 and 5785 and 242 in the first three months of 2022, respectively. Although Mercedes-Benz has launched a number of pure electric vehicle products in the field of electric vehicles, its performance in terms of sales is not optimistic. From January to March this year, the domestic sales of EQA, EQB and EQC were 769,778 and 984 respectively, with an average of only 200 to 300 vehicles per month. In addition, at present, the pure electric vehicle market of more than 300000 yuan has been first occupied by Tesla and the new car-building forces. It is obviously very difficult for Mercedes-Benz to bring new breakthroughs in the field of electric vehicles by relying on three models: EQA, EQB and EQC.
