Although Beiqi Blue Valley is full of questions from investors on the interactive platform, and the problems are full of gunpowder, the interior is full of expectations for Polar Fox. At the communication meeting held by BAIC Group, Zhang Xiyong, general manager of BAIC Group, revealed to the outside world the next part of the goals and development focus of the three independent plates of BAIC Group, among which the sales target of BAIC New Energy under BAIC Blue Valley this year is 100,000 vehicles, including 40,000 polar foxes, striving to impact 300,000 vehicles in the future.
Of course, setting goals is one thing, and achieving them is another. According to the first quarter report, the cumulative sales volume of Beiqi Blue Valley was 9120 vehicles, up 189.6% year-on-year. According to the sales target of 100,000 vehicles, the target completion rate of Beiqi Blue Valley is only 9%. Previously, according to the annual report, Beiqi Blue Valley sold 26127 new cars in 2021, up 0.82% from 25914 in 2020. It is understood that BAIC Blue Valley owns three factories of Beiqi New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., Beiqi New Energy Changzhou Co., Ltd. and Beiqi Blue Valley Magna Automobile Co., Ltd., with design capacity of 320,000 vehicles, 50,000 vehicles and 150,000 vehicles respectively, totaling 520,000 vehicles. However, the actual capacity utilization rate in 2021 is 0.08%, 0% and 8.32% respectively, and the capacity utilization rate is very low.
In the automobile industry attention, the current new energy automobile market competition is very fierce, who can occupy a higher market share, harvest more brand recognition, who is likely to occupy the lead in the subsequent market. In addition to the delivery of new cars, Beiqi Blue Valley's share price slump has also become a hot topic for many investors. After Huawei cooperated with Beiqi Blue Valley in April 2021, its share price continued to soar, rising from 8.5 yuan to the highest 19.2 yuan, but since then it also started to fall mode, closing at 7.02 yuan, a new low since November 2020, and the share price has fallen by more than 70% from its peak.
