The "Lantu Dreamer" is the second mass production model under Lantu Motors, and it is also its first MPV model. The new car is located in a large MPV. On November 17, 2021, the new car was officially named "Dreamer". It is understood that the Lantu Dreamer has received more than 4000 orders since it started pre-sale on April 7.

As the first MPV model of Lantu car, the new car adopts an atmospheric and luxurious design style. specifically, the front face of the new car uses a large area waterfall intake grille, LED daytime driving lights connected with headlights on both sides, and a luminous car logo in the middle, which looks very atmospheric as a whole.

On the side of the body, the overall lines of the new car are smooth, and electronically controlled side sliding doors are used on both sides, further highlighting the noble temperament of the vehicle. In the rear part, the overall design of the new car is relatively simple, the taillights do not use the current popular through taillights, but the use of light wave-like LED taillights group, the overall recognition is relatively high. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5315/1980/1810mm and the wheelbase is 3200mm. According to public information, Lantu Automobile is a high-end intelligent electric brand of Dongfeng Automobile Group, which was founded in 2018 and officially released its brand logo and Chinese name on July 17, 2020. The first model, Lantu FREE, was launched on June 19, 2021 and began to be delivered in August of the same year. The car is positioned as a medium and large SUV, with a total of pure electric version and extended range version of two power models, priced at 333600 yuan and 313600 yuan respectively, of which the pure electric version NEDC has a range of 500km, while the extended version NEDC has a range of 860km. According to the data, Lantu FREE sold 6431 vehicles in its five months on the market. From January to March this year, sales were 1553, 740 and 1385 respectively.

Lantu Dreamer is the second mass production model under Lantu Automobile, and it is also its first MPV model, positioning large-scale MPV. From the market level, the current high-end MPV market segment is still blank, only some car companies layout pure electric MPV, including SAIC Chase MAXUS MIFA 9 and polar krypton new energy MPV, etc., in addition, the vehicle price of more than 600000 and influential models in the market are also very few, but domestic brands such as Tengli have already launched the layout. On April 28th this year, the first MPV model of the Tengli brand took off D9 officially, and the price of the new car may be 450000 yuan. The mileage is up to 1000 kilometers and is expected to be listed in the middle of the year. And FAW Toyota's new MPV "GRANVIA" (the new car's Chinese name may be named Grevia) has also appeared on the MIIT declaration list, which means that the car will be officially on the market soon.

At present, I do not know how the market performance of Lantu Dreamer will be after its listing. According to the product plan of Lantu Automobile, in addition to the above two models, Lantu Automobile will form a matrix of three categories spanning SUV, MPV and cars in the next three years, and at least one new car will be put on the market every year.
