Ruige is Cadillac's first pure electric car, based on the general Ultium platform. In terms of appearance, the new car adopts a more technological and future design style, with a large closed front grille in the front of the shield style, which is decorated with a number of LED lights, which can be lit when the vehicle is started. At the same time, larger and more complex air intakes are used on both sides of the grille, with longitudinally arranged double-banner LED daytime driving lights. On the side of the body, the new car adopts a slip-back styling design and is equipped with a touch-controlled hidden door handle, while the charging port of the new car is located on the left front wing. In the rear part, the new car's through-type LED taillight group is well integrated with the rear window, while the taillight is divided into upper and lower groups, the top uses a through-type design, which extends to the D-column, which is very exaggerated in length and shape, while the lower part echoes with the daytime driving lights on the front face, using the Cadillac classic vertical light group mechanism, and the overall design has a strong degree of recognition. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5003/1977/1637mm, wheelbase 3094mm, positioning medium and large pure electric SUV.

In the interior part, the overall design of the new car is more science fiction, with a 33-inch curved OLED screen, integrated dashboard, infotainment, navigation, lighting control, air conditioning and other functions, and can be divided into three areas to display different information. In terms of configuration, Ruige will also be equipped with functions such as GM's newly developed "SuperCruise" driving assistance system, which can automatically change lanes and command lanes through the fusion of lane-level high-precision maps with millimeter wave radar, cameras and other sensors.

In terms of power, Ruige provides two power combinations: single-motor rear drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. Among them, the four-wheel drive model is equipped with two front and rear permanent magnet synchronous motors, the maximum power 375kW, the maximum torque of the motor is 710N ·m, and the mileage of CLTC is more than 600km; the maximum power of the rear-drive long-range model is 255kW, the maximum torque is 440N ·m, and the mileage of CLTC is 653km.

Generally speaking, the price of pure electric cars is much higher than that of fuel cars, so the pre-price from Ruigo is significantly higher than that of Cadillac. According to the official website, the most expensive Cadillac model is the CT6, with a price range of 39.97-489700 yuan. As a medium and large pure electric SUV, it is in the same class as Rui GE, including ES8, Tesla Model X, Audi e-tron, Audi Q5 e-tron and BMW IX and so on. For reference, the ES8 sold 1251 cars in April and the Audi e-tron sold 58.
