In terms of size, the new Dongfeng Honda CR-V has a length, width and height of 4703/1866/1680mm and a wheelbase of 2701mm. For comparison, the current Dongfeng Honda CR-V has a length, width and height of 4621/1855/1679mm and a wheelbase of 2660mm. It is not difficult to see that the new generation of CR-V has improved in size in an all-round way, in which the length increases 82mm and the wheelbase increases 41mm.

In terms of layout, the new car is available in 5-seat and 7-seat versions, which is the first time Dongfeng Honda has launched a 7-seat SUV model in the domestic market. For the 7-seat version of the CR-V, many people still hold a skeptical attitude, after all, as a compact SUV, the third row of space performance is generally more chicken rib. The interior part has not been officially disclosed, but you can see from the back window that the new car is equipped with a suspended central control screen, and the interior layout is expected to be similar to that of the 11th Generation Civic, which remains to be further confirmed by the authorities. On the power side, the new car is expected to carry a 1.5T L15BZ engine produced by Dongfeng Honda Motor Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 142kW, matching the CVT gearbox, providing front drive and timely all-wheel drive, as well as a hybrid model consisting of 2.0L engines.

As we all know, the CR-V is the first model introduced by Dongfeng Honda, and it has undergone five upgrades so far. The Honda CR-V currently on sale is a mid-term modification of the fourth generation, which went on sale on July 11, 2020, offering fuel version and hybrid version for consumers to choose from. This new car is declared as the sixth generation model. As a compact SUV, Honda CR-V mainly competes with Toyota RAV4 Rongfang, Nissan Qijun and other models. In terms of sales, Honda sold 73313 CR-V vehicles from January to April in 2022, making it one of Dongfeng's best-selling models, compared with 40279 for Toyota's RAV4 and 8754 for Nissan's Qijun.

Dongfeng Honda will launch a total of 8 models this year, including the new Civic, the new Civic hybrid version, the new Civic HATCHBACK, the new Civic TYPE-R, the new generation XR-V, the new generation CR-V, the new pure electric e:NS1 and a new SUV model. On April 15, the new generation of XR-V completed the declaration of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; on April 26, Dongfeng Honda e:NS1 officially launched, the new car positioning small pure electric SUV, the price range is 175000-218000 yuan.
