According to the media 1818 Golden Eye, the owner of the car, Mr. Zhang, bought a zero-running C11 new energy vehicle from Ningbo Hengyue Automobile sales and Service Co., Ltd in March. Mr. Zhang drove the car on the highway in Anhui on May 3. After a brake, the car could not accelerate. Mr. Zhang described that the throttle pedal had no signal, that is, there was no throttle at all, and the brake was automatically braking and stopped in the emergency driveway. He was very panicked at that time. After calling 400, the reply he got was to drive to the 4S store to check the fault. After that, Mr. Zhang cut off the whole car and restarted it, and the car returned to normal.
However, after the car got off the highway that day, the power problem appeared again, and the throttle of the car was slow for three or four seconds, and the next day Mr. Zhang had to drive the car from Anhui to the Cixi 4S store in Ningbo. When driving on the highway back to Ningbo, the car will be slow for three to four seconds every time after braking and then pressing the throttle, and if there is a car in front of the highway, it is more dangerous to step on the brake throttle, so Mr. Zhang pointed out that he also took a certain risk during the whole journey back. According to Mr. Zhang, when he got off the highway that day, the car completely "lay down" at the toll station and completely lost its power, so he had to put it into neutral and push it out of the toll station, and contacted the trailer driver to tow the vehicle home. After that, Mr. Zhang contacted the 4S store, and the staff of the 4S store checked the vehicle and gave a plan to return the car.
Mr. Zhang did not accept the plan of returning the car, hoping that the 4S store could be replaced with a new car of the same model. Due to the absence of the person in charge of the 4S store, the staff did not reply later. In view of this, Mr. Zhang also contacted the manufacturer Zhejiang Zero running Technology Co., Ltd. The staff of the Public Relations Department replied by e-mail, and after fault troubleshooting, it was found that the brake light switch gap was obviously abnormal, which was initially determined to be caused by the brake light switch assembly problem, and the solution was to replace the brake light switch, which belongs to an individual faulty vehicle. With regard to this problem, Mr. Zhang put forward three plans, including repair and compensation, replacement, returning the car at the original price and replenishing the license fee, and the increase in the price of the new car, but the zero-running car believes that the failure does not meet the conditions stipulated in the three-guarantee law. However, he decided to return the car at the original price without calculating vehicle driving and accident maintenance depreciation, bear the insurance licensing fee, and give customer care fees. Mr. Zhang did not approve this plan.
So far, the two sides have not reached an agreement. Mr. Zhang said that his demand now is to change trains without paying the cost, and if they fail to reach an agreement, he will consider taking legal measures.
It is understood that the Zero C11 is the third mass production model under Zero, and it is also the first model based on Zero C architecture. The car was launched in October 2021, positioning as a medium-sized pure electric SUV, with a total of three models, with a subsidized price range of 15.98-199800 yuan at that time. In terms of power, the Zero C11 is equipped with a self-developed new-generation Hercules electric drive system, and the highest efficiency of the three-in-one electric drive assembly is more than 93.2%. In March this year, due to the sharp rise in raw material prices and the decline of state subsidies, the official guidance price of zero-running cars was adjusted after subsidizing all C11 models. The adjusted price of zero-running C11 was 179800-229800 yuan, an increase of 20,000-30,000 yuan compared with the previous period. Among them, the price of the zero run C11 performance version increased by 30, 000 yuan to 229800 yuan, the zero run C11 enjoyment version increased by 30, 000 yuan to 209800 yuan, and the zero run C11 deluxe version increased by 20, 000 yuan to 179800 yuan.
Data show that from October 2021 to the end of 2021, Zero C11 delivered a total of 3965 vehicles, of which 3964 were delivered in 2021.
