According to BYD officials, BYD Super Hybrid Tang DM-i and Masters Hybrid Tang DM-p captured 5472 new cars in three hours of pre-sale, which officials called "worthy of the 300000 level of SUV strength."

As a new member of the BYD Tang family, the new car adopts the latest "Dragon Face" design concept similar to Han DM-p. In the front part of the car, the middle net of the new car has become a dot matrix arrangement, and the whole front face looks very young and athletic. The details on both sides of the front of the new car are also adjusted, and the wind knife design is added, which is highly recognizable.

The side of the car body has not changed much, and the size of the new car is consistent with that of the current Tang DM-i. The length, width and height of the new car are 4870/1950/1725mm, the wheelbase is 2820mm, and the positioning is medium and large SUV.

In the rear part, except for the adjustment of the rear surround shape, there is also no obvious change in other places, but the new car uses the same semi-enclosed new rim shape as the 2022 Tang EV.

In the interior part, the overall layout of the new car is basically the same as that of the 2022 Tang EV model, three decorative bars have been added to the central control panel, the English logo "BUILD YOUR DREAMS" has been added in front of the passenger car, and the electronic grip has changed into a blue and black gradient style, and will provide grey color matching of the Cangdome. In the seat layout, the new car offers two options: 6 seats and 7 seats.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of the high-performance Snapcloud 1.5Ti engine and the front and rear dual motors, with a maximum power of 102kW and a peak torque of 231Nm; the maximum power of the front and rear motors is 160kW and 200kW respectively, and the peak torque is 325Nm and 350Nm respectively. According to official data, the acceleration time of the new car is 4.3 seconds at 0-100 km / h. In terms of battery life, the new car will carry a lithium iron phosphate blade battery with a capacity of 45.8kwh and a pure electric mileage of 215km under NEDC comprehensive conditions, while the fuel consumption of 100km in a power deficit condition is only 6.5L.

According to previous reports by the auto industry, data show that from January to May this year, BYD sold 504395 new energy passenger vehicles, of which 114183 were sold in May. In terms of specific models, the BYD Tang family sold 46515 vehicles from January to May, of which the Tang family sold 8449 vehicles in May. By comparison, Toyota's Hanlanda sold 41737 vehicles from January to May. With the official listing of BYD Tang DM-p, the BYD Tang family will form the rectangles of Tang DM-i, Tang EV and Tang DM-p, and compete with Toyota Halanda (25.88-348800), Toyota Crown Lu Fang (27.58-350800), Honda Crown Road (22-332800) and other models.
