The new car provides a new generation of BlueKing 2.0T turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 233hp and a peak torque of 390Nm. As for the price, it has not been officially announced. For comparison, the current UNI-V 1.5T model sells for 10.89-131900 yuan, and the 2.0T model is expected to sell at a higher price, or between 13 and 150000.

Combined with the previous declaration information and the newly released pictures, the appearance of the new car has not changed much, basically continuing the design style of the 1.5T sports version, but by comparison, the overall shape of the new car will be more radical. Specifically, the front face of the new car uses a borderless intake grille and uses a two-color design, and a new intake opening is added above the grille, which makes the overall recognition extremely high. In addition, the new car comes with a large-size three-stage front enclosure, which is basically similar to the 1.5T version, but with some differences in detail. the new car is decorated with carbon fiber decoration and a black front lip kit through the trim strip. the vision is layered.

On the side of the body, the new car uses a slippery roof design with the hidden door handles commonly seen in new energy vehicles, while the new car has a fully upgraded kit with a black kit, including window edges, rims, side skirts and rearview mirror housings. Compared with the current 1.5T version, the new car has a slight increase in length, but the rest remains the same and is still positioned as a compact sedan.

In the interior part, the overall design of the new car also continues the concise design of the 1.5T version. In configuration, the new car instrument system is composed of three color screens, plus the car couplet interactive touch screen located in the center. The design of four-screen linkage is relatively rare in cars of the same class.

Power is the biggest change in the new car, which is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine named "JL486ZQ5" with a maximum power of 171kW and a peak torque of 390N ·m. The matching gearbox has not yet been officially announced and is expected to be an eight-speed manual self-contained gearbox. As a comparison, the maximum power of the Chang'an UNI-V 1.5T version currently on sale is 138kW, and the peak torque is 300N ·m. By contrast, the new car has improved a lot compared with the 1.5T model, and the overall performance will be 33kW higher than the maximum power of the 1.5T model.

In terms of competition, as far as the current market is concerned, there are more cars of the same class as UNI-V, including domestic Mingjue 6, Chuanqi Shadow Leopard, Lengke 03, 11th generation Dongfeng Honda Civic, Guangzhou Automobile Honda model, etc., but at present, most of these models only provide 1.5T power version, only Lecke 03 provides 1.5T and 2.0T powertrain, of which Lecke 03 2.0T maximum power 140kW This also means that the UNI-V 2.0T will compete with models such as Lecker 03 2.0T, and of course, whether it will eventually need to be combined with the price of the new car to determine.

Changan UNI series products are considered to be the key products for the younger transformation of Changan automobile brand, which was launched as early as June 2020. So far, Changan UNI series products have a total of three models, including UNI-T, UNI-K and UNI-V, most of which are priced in the range of 100000 yuan to 150000 yuan. Among them, Changan UNI-V 1.5T version is the third mass production model of Changan UNI series, and it is also its first car. UNI-V 1.5T version was officially launched on March 21, positioning the young market sports sedan, focusing on the four-door coupe market, with a total of 4 models.

The latest data show that the cumulative sales of Chang'an UNI-V 1.5T models since its launch are 19198, of which the sales from March to May are 3584, 5425 and 7818 respectively, showing a gradual growth trend. With the launch of the 2.0T model, Changan UNI-V will also have a richer product lineup, which may further boost its sales.
