Recall II: recall the following vehicles from August 10, 2022. (1) Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. recalled some imported B-Class, C-Class, E-Class, G-Class, S-Class, AMG GT, CLS, GLC SUV, GLE SUV and GLS SUV series cars from September 5, 2018 to February 19, 2020, totaling 50. (2) Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. recalled a total of 322 domestic A-Class, C-Class, E-Class, GLA SUV and GLC SUV cars manufactured during the period from October 15, 2018 to June 11, 2020.

The reason for the recall is that the particles remaining in the manufacturing process of the vehicle fuel distributor within the scope of this recall may damage the sealing ring between the fuel distributor and the injector, resulting in fuel leakage, which does not meet the sealing requirements of the vehicle fuel system. In extreme cases, if the leaking fuel comes into contact with the high-temperature parts of the engine, the risk of fire can not be ruled out, there are safety risks and unreasonable emissions. In view of the above defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd., Beijing Mercedes-Benz Automobile Co., Ltd., through Mercedes-Benz authorized dealers, will replace fuel distributors and injectors free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall, in order to eliminate safety risks and unreasonable emission hazards.

In addition, due to production reasons, the information on the vehicle nameplate and related documents about the production date is inconsistent with the information indicating the model year in the vehicle identification code VIN. Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. also recalled some imported CLS and AMG GT vehicles. According to the announcement, starting from July 22, 2022, a total of 80 imported CLS and AMG GT vehicles were recalled from December 10, 2020 to February 3, 2022. In view of the above defects, Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile sales Co., Ltd. will replace the vehicle nameplate and related documents for the recalled vehicles free of charge through the authorized dealers of Mercedes-Benz.
