In June, BMW X3 and BMW 5-Series ranked first and third respectively. The number of BMW X3 complaints reached 761, but there was a significant improvement from last month's 1493. In addition, BMW 6-Series GT, BMW X4 and BMW 5-Series New Energy ranked fifth to seventh on the complaint list, with about 60 complaints. According to the owner's description, the car machine function system is not consistent with the publicity mainly because the real car is a castrated version of the ID7 system, while the official claims that the ID7 can have functions such as software upgrade and voice control, but the actual vehicle does not have this function, and this problem has also appeared in many other BMW models, so it has been complained by a large number of car owners, but so far, BMW officials have not given a reasonable explanation to the car owners.

In addition to the problems with cars and engines, BMW has a relatively high number of complaints about oil burning and other problems. This problem also covers BMW's 3-Series, 5-Series, X3, X4 and other best-selling models. However, BMW's oil-burning complaints were filed by a large number of car owners as early as the end of last year. BMW owners have jointly complained many times that their products have serious oil-burning problems. But in the end, the authorities did not give the car owner a satisfactory solution.

In May, BMW led Mercedes-Benz and Audi among the three major BBA luxury brands, with sales of the BMW 5-Series and BMW X3 at 15564 and 12947, respectively, ranking first and second in May sales of high-end cars, according to public data. From January to May this year, BMW 5-Series accumulated sales of 73377 vehicles, BMW X3 cumulative sales of 63799 vehicles, is still the first two high-end car sales list.

In addition to the luxury brand BMW, in June, there were more complaints about some independent brand new energy models. For example, BYD and Geely have become "regular customers" on the complaint list. The specific models involved include BYD Song Pro New Energy, Geometry Kung Fu Niu and Geely Xingyue L. the main complaint problems are "improper publicity, non-standard operation, difficult car lifting, failure to deliver cars according to appointment, etc.". What car owners complain about is not vehicle quality problems, but focus on "non-delivery". On this point, BYD Song Pro new energy models and Geometry Kung Fu Niu are almost the "worst-hit areas" of car owners' complaints, ranking second and fourth on the list of complaints respectively.

Take BYD as an example, BYD's sales of new energy vehicles have been soaring since 2022, especially after BYD announced in early April that it had stopped selling fuel vehicles. BYD's orders were hot, selling more than 100000 vehicles for three months in a row, which directly led to the situation that BYD was "in short supply". As a result, many car owners complained that BYD was "unable to pick up the car" and the delivery time was slow. Li Qian, secretary of the board of directors of BYD, said when participating in the CCTV Financial interview program on May 30: "BYD is still in short supply. At present, it owes more than 500000 market orders. Consumers have to wait four and a half months, or even six months, to buy BYD cars. If not for the impact of the epidemic, sales may be better. This year's annual sales target mainly depends on the quality of the supply chain." According to the concern of the automobile industry, at present, many models of BYD need to wait for 2-3 months, which shows the hot selling degree of BYD in the same level of products. At present, BYD Song Pro new energy sales continue to be hot, at the same time due to insufficient production capacity also caused a backlog of orders. Data show that BYD's retail sales of new energy vehicles in May were 113768, including 23934 in Han, 31989 in Song and 20753 in Qin.
