On July 10th, a set of new SUV patent maps for ideal cars were unveiled online. The new car is the third car after the ideal ONE and the ideal L9. According to previous news, the new car is code-named X02 or L8.

From the patent diagram exposed, the new car adopts a design style similar to that of the ideal L9 model. In terms of appearance, the front face of the new car is a brand new closed intake grille design, which looks more concise and atmospheric, and the star ring light belt and headlight group are very similar to the ideal L9. The front of the new car is surrounded by a complex cooling and ventilation opening, with near and far light groups on both sides, making the overall shape look more youthful and fashionable.

Unlike the ideal L9, the new car has a fixed pedal and a new rim design on the side of the body. In the rear part, the license plate frame of the rear part of the new car is below the bumper, while the ideal car is under the taillight.

In terms of motivation, it is not yet known. As a reference, the ideal L9 is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder controller, the maximum power of the front drive motor is 130kW, the maximum power of the rear drive motor is 200kW, the total power is 330kW, and the maximum torque is 620N ·m. In terms of mileage, the ideal L9 is equipped with 44.5kWh battery capacity, pure electric battery 215km under CLTC operating conditions, and comprehensive mileage 1315km.

Ideal Automobile was founded in July 2015. Compared with Xiaopeng Automobile and Xilai Automobile, ideal Automobile is the latest brand among the three new forces in China, and it is also the brand with the least products on sale at present. So far, the ideal ONE is the only model under the ideal car. The ideal ONE was launched in October 2018 and is located as a medium and large SUV with a current price of 349800 yuan.

Li Xiang has previously said that from this year to next year, ideal will launch three new products, including a flagship SUV, an all-electric model, and a medium-sized car of 200000-300000 yuan. Among them, the flagship SUV is the ideal L9, which was code-named X01 at that time, and the new car code name for this exposure may be X02. It is expected that the positioning of the ideal X02 will be lower than the ideal L9. The ideal L9 is the second mass-produced model of the ideal car and the first large-scale SUV under the ideal car. The ideal L9 was officially released on June 21 with a price of 459800 yuan. CEO Li wants to define it as "the best household flagship SUV within 5 million". It says the ideal L9 will be officially delivered to customers in August and can deliver more than 10,000 in September.

In addition, according to the product plans exposed online earlier, the ideal car will launch new X-series and S-series cars based on the LRM2.0 platform in the future. Among them, the LRM2.0-based platform will launch four models, X01 (now the ideal L9) positioning large 6-seat SUV with a price range of 35-500000, Mercedes-Benz GLS, planned to launch in the fourth quarter of 2022; X02 (or the new SUV patent map model mentioned above) is located in the medium and large 6-seat SUV with a price range of 30-400000, Benz-Benz GLE S01 is located in 6-seat SUV with a price range of 25-350000, and a price range of 20-300000 for medium-sized 5-seat SUV for Standard Tesla Model Xscape S02 and Standard Tesla Model Y.

According to public data, the ideal car delivered 90491 new cars in 2021, lagging behind Xiaopeng's 98155 and Lulai's 91429. In the first half of this year, ideal delivered a total of 60403 new cars, compared with 68983 delivered by Xiaopeng, ahead of ideal, and 50827 delivered by Lulai. Ideal plans to deliver 1.6 million new cars by 2025.
